The Discussions bar on the main page says I have 1 unread thread/message in the forums. I have checked the forums repeatedly and even logged out momentarily, but there’s no sign of this mystery thread and the notification is still there. (Forgive me if my terminology sucks. I can take a picture if need be).
I’m not real sure what’s going on there, but I figured I’d say something.
It's a ghost notif, they happen from time to time. It should go away eventually

Ah, sorry about that. Ghost notifications are typically caused by spam getting auto-banned. The posts get removed immediately and notifications take a little bit to clear out afterwards, but they should always fix themselves shortly after!
Makes sense. And yeah, it didn’t take long for it to go away, so no worries, thumbs-up. I was mainly confused because this was the first time I had encountered it.
