Okay, here I go:
Hinata flipped the "Open" sign off. She watched as the letters faded off, one by one. She retreated to her room, cleaning up the diner along the way. She reached the hallway that led to her house.
(Wait, so are all the other characters already in a group and know each other before they break in or are they in completely different places and just happen to all break into the same exact restaurant on the same day?)
Idk?
(Um, the diner is known to be very wealthy, so it is possible they would all break in the same day)
(The latter is what I was thinking would happen…)
A small, scraping-scritching-scratching-pitterpatter sound could be heard within the recesses of the restaurant's ventilation system.
A small few insects and spiders, mostly flies, came through, in the tens.
Roaches swarmed the place as well.
And suddenly, snakes and rats, and lizards converged on the restaurants as well, centipedes dropped from the ventilation system, like a rain, and finally, a few bats found their way into the place somehow too.
All of these pests started to converge together, merging, in a fast, efficient, gruesome manner.
Something started to take shape within the horde; the malevolent laughter of a young man arose from the chatter of pests,
They finally merged completely, and before the head of the restaurant stood a young man, with eyes like blue gas-flames, and red hair, in what appeared to be a long trenchcoat, with deep pockets, and a pair of long, billowing coattails. His collar was upturned.
He stood menacingly, staring at the other guests, only one person so fat.
"This restaurant is simply magnificent you know?" He spoke
Skye stepped into the restaurant from outside, having witnessed the entrance before he stepped in. "Yeah, nice entrance pal." he said, heading over to the counter.
Hinata seemed unfazed.
"We're closed. No more customers today." She looked at the man.
"Though, I doubt you're here for food."
Hinata turned to Skye.
"Okay, is this a stickup or something? Seriously, what are you doing?"
"I don't know about him but I came here for food." said Skye, gesturing to the other as he spoke. "Though I guess I'll have to find someplace else."
"Hey, is this place open?" Mika asked, slowly pushing open the once locked door.
Hinata went over to the counter and pulled out a burger.
"Here," she said, tossing it to Skye.
"Apparently not" said Skye, turning to head out, though his eyes turned to study the other man. "You're a lot older then you look.." he commented.
"I guess it is now!"
Skye caught it, digging out some cash to pay for it. "Thanks" he said, smiling.
Hinata shrugged.
"Keep your money."
"Nah, I insist." said Skye, placing it on the counter.
"Does this place have any apple pastries?" asked Mika, as she searched the room for a menu sign. "If so, I'm going to need a dozen… For a friend."
Hinata shrugged.
Hinata looked under the counter.
"I think so…"
Skye sat down at the counter to eat his meal, keeping an eye on those around him.
Hinata secretly magicked the pastries into being, then popped up with them.
"Here."
Skye raised an eyebrow, having felt the surge of magic.
Hinata looked around.
"Geez, I might as well turn on the open sign."
