Skye soon lifted his voice to join her, singing in the language of wolves, though he sang the same lyrics.
Skye soon lifted his voice to join her, singing in the language of wolves, though he sang the same lyrics.
Hinata belted out, in a sweet but resonate voice,
"Yeah, cool another lightning strike! On and on through the dawn echoing bye bye bye! We know it'll end, so for now we're staying friends and walk this line!"
Skye smiled, matching her in his own way, continuing to sing in his language.
Hinata continued to sing.
Skye sang with her, cleaning until the whole place was spotless.
Hinata finished the song (totally skipping most of the song):
"Even now, keep facing the wind as you walk under the sandy planet sky!"
Skye finished with her, but he didn't stop, instead he seamlessly switched to another song, one that was sang only in the language of the wolves.
Hinata swayed along.
Skye continued the song, smiling as he sang.
Hinata started to hum.
Skye's melody never faltered, as he sang in his own language, a song of calm peace, and wonders.
Hinata reached into her pocket and pulled out a green gem. Placing it on her ear, she could understand the song. Placing a red one on her lips allowed her to sing along.
Skye noticed what she did, but made no move as he continued the ballad.
Hinata joined, adding her voice.
Skye seamlessly switched keys, singing in a slightly lower one, creating a harmony
Hinata loved the way they were sounding together. Her sister would be jealous.
Skye smiled, continuing the song until the final verse.
Hinata followed Skye's lead. It felt good to let someone else be the leader.
Skye sighed when the song finished, smiling at her, a wistful look in his eyes.
"That was beautiful."
"It's an old song my mother taught me.." said Skye.
Hinata gave a soft smile.
"It must mean much to you."
"Yeah.. It does.." said Skye.
Hinata smiled again.
"My mother never got to teach me her songs…"
"Maybe I can teach you mine?"
