“Work? You’re like what, 16? 17? 18? 19? What do they even hire you for? To clean tea cups?” Chelsea asked, furrowing her eyebrows.

//so I think we said we were going back to nykidia’s then teresa’s?
yeah sure, Shadow Knight, could you start us off?
"I work at a weaponry part time." Cade answered, running his fingers over the knife handle by his belt.
(Shadow??)
“Oh, neat.” Chelsea nodded, “I think I saw a handle like that stabbed into someone’s stomach once.”
(Chelsea is just getting more weird and ominous.)
Cade sighed, kind of fed up with Chelsea's random outbursts. "It might have been from my weaponry then."
(Lol oof.)
“Hm, does that mean your bad at watching your weapons?” Chelsea asked.
Cade narrowed his eyes at her. "Watching the weapons isn't my job. I stock shelves and ring up customers."
“Oh.” Chelsea slouched a little. “So, how’s your apology?”
"I haven't thought of anything new since the last time you asked." Cade responded, shoving his hands in the pockets of his jacket. "I probably won't even remember it by the time we get there."
“Cadey, they’re not forgive you.” Chelsea sighed, “If you ever do something like this again, have a brilliant and heart touching apology or don’t get caught and succeed.”
Cade sighed helplessly. "The sad thing is, you're a hundred percent right. I've never appologized to anyone except my siblings before! Why would I be able to do it now?"
“Oh, wow, stings, Cadey.” Chelsea said disapprovingly, “But try to tie your decision to some sad reason, use some ethos.”
"Some what now?" Cade asked. He had been following what Chelsea was saying until the last word she used.
“Emotional appeal. Like shedding a tear while giving a heartbreaking reason.” Chelsea explained, “It’ll make the person being who’s listening sympathetic towards you. They’ll feel bad for you, then they’ll mostly forgive you.”
"So you want me to lie while trying to appologize for lying?" Cade asked hesitantly, not sure if that made sense.
“Not really, I’m just suggesting random things. You don’t have to listen to them,” Chelsea sighed, taking another sip of her hot chocolate, “unless they benefit you. If they benefit you, or whatever you’re trying to achieve, then do it.”
Cade took a moment to think about what Chelsea had said. "That made a surprising amount of sense coming from you."
(Sorry. I'll post in a bit.)
“Thanks.” Chelsea grinned, “You seem to be that type of person who lives by those rules anyways.”
"It really depends on my mood. Some days I follow those rules, sometimes I follow others." Cade said, shrugging casually.
Nykidia sighed a sigh of relief once the had teleported out of town and to Teresa's house. "Is everyone alright?" Night said looking around. "Head count!" Nykidia yelled.
Scarlet looked around, still very disoriented and very, very shaken. "I-I'm here."
"It really depends on my mood. Some days I follow those rules, sometimes I follow others." Cade said, shrugging casually.
“Neatooo, Cadey.” Chelsea disappeared for a few seconds. When she came back, she didn’t have her hot chocolate cup anymore.
“I hope you have your apology ready.” Chelsea smiled. She then pulled Cade through at least 6 branches.
She tucked in a lock of hair behind her ear and looked toward the house, “Ta daaaa.”
