Scarlet found the back door of the cottage, slipping out and finding a spot under a tree that was sheltered from the rain. She dug a hole in the soft soil with her hands. It wasn't difficult; the dirt was damp and moveable, and a few minutes later she had (surprisingly neatly) cut her hair up to her shoulder. Now all I have to do is dye it.
"O my wonderland. How do you that?" Night asked. "And more importantly can I have some?" Nykidia asked pointing at the hot chocolate.
“I dunno, I just.. do it?” Chelsea shrugged, taking another sip of hot chocolate, “And sorry, but no. My precious hot chocolate.”
Nykidia slid to the ground in defeat. "Are you invisible? Do you teleport? What did you do?" Night asked trying to understand.
“Technically, none of them.” Chelsea blinked, kicking at the floor beneath her.
Night sat there trying to figure out what the heck Chelsea was doing then. Nykidia, saddened that she couldn't have hot coco, pulled a bag of caramels out of seemingly no where and started eating them.
“I’m bored.” Chelsea sighed, “Are we all going to stand around saying nothing for the rest of the night?”
"It's dark. We would got to my place so Scarlet could dye her hair but you know what's in the dark." Nykidia said.
“Just… ignore my warning about fairies and magic, i guess. Yep. Sounds good.” Phoebe sighed and shook her head. “Anyways, we could do a rational thing called sleep.”
“But it’s only-” Chelsea pulled out her pocket watch, “-7:45!”
"I don't sleep." Nykidia said.
(Me neither Nykidia)
Scarlet walked back in, yawning a little. “What time is it?”
“7:45.” Chelsea repeated.
“Good for you,” Phoebe said sarcastically. “It’s nearly 8. I’m used to sleeping late and getting up early, so excuse me if I’d like some sleep early for once.”
"7:45," Nykidia said. "I like the new hair cut," Night complemented.
“Fine then, I guess.” Chelsea sighed, sitting down on the floor.
Nykidia looked at Chelsea. "What were you doing outside?"
"Wait…do you guys normally go to bed this early? This is like supper time for me." Cade responded, scoffing.
“Exactly.” Chelsea nodded. She turned toward Nykidia with a gleam in her eye, “It’s confidential.”
"Nope. I usually eat dinner around 9." Nykidia said. "Does anyone want a caramel?"
"I specifically remember the stories my parents told me about taking candy from strangers." Cade joked. "But seriously, I'm not that hungry."
"Yeah cause I totally laced them with cyanide." She said popping on in her mouth and pretending to choke.
“Could I have one?”, Scarlet asked tentatively, rubbinf a lock of hair between her fingers. Her whole head felt… lighter, she wasn’t sure whether or not she liked it yet.
"Sure!" she said giving one to her. "What's your favorite type of candy, Sweetheart?" she said cracking a grin.
(I'm going to bed. Night!)
