Andre decided to go to sleep in his hammock, even though he wasn’t tired. “Man, that Sophie’s is a pretty interesting specimen. I wonder if I can find more data about her”. He said under his breath.

Suddenly James awoke in the strangest place. " well looks like im not in my den anymore…" Ears perked up he followed a nearby sound.

Riverpaw peeked her head out of her den and looked around, spotting the berries Andre and Zivix left out in the clearing. The creature was still out there, and she wasn't sure what he was planning on doing, but she wanted some of those berries.

He went to a suspiciously looking patch of leaves that rested by his hammock, as he jumped into the pile, and disappeared.

James looked around and saw a berry bush, sniffing it, and picked a few to eat, then in the corner of his eye he saw something move

Andre sat down in a chair he had constructed out of bark, and some leaves. “Man I gotta find a better place to put those leaves, or maybe I could make a door mat?” He said to himself.

Sofie sat in her hammock. The sky was dark and there was barely any light. Knowing she wouldn’t be able to sleep, Sofie fiddled with her necklace and waited until everything quieted down. Maybe she could walk around the clearing and have the first watch. Or the only watch. Sighing, Sofie wrapped her wings around her and waited.

Andre popped out of the hole, hoping Sophie wouldn’t hear him. “They can never know”. He thought he walked over to his own hammock, and settled down for the day

Sofie jumped when she heard the whisper in the dark. She relaxed- only a little bit -after she realized it was Andre. Pulling her wings in tighter around her body, Sofie sat in the quiet darkness. When she thought everyone was asleep, she hopped out of the hammock and spread her wings. The silent wind from her feathers and the small sound of her paws hitting the mulch was the only noise Sofie could hear in the dark. With pawsteps no louder than a mouse’s, Sofie crept around the clearing and sat somewhere along the edge next to Riverpaw’s hidey hole. She let her eyes catch any small amounts of light and adjust to the darkness, she couldn’t see perfectly in dark spaces, but she realized she probably had better night vision than most other creatures… in certain cases. I mean, when you have the ability to become a 3-foot tall owl, then I mean, with eyes those big you’re definitely gonna have some awesome night vision.

He heard Sophie, and immediately started to sprint, as he was running he ran past Riverpaw’s home. He saw Sophie, and then started to sprint again, fading into the darkness of the forest.

James soon found himself following another scent…and wandered near …a Hammock? " maybe if i howl someone will hear me , hopefully it's someone of my pack…" He howls deep and hollow.

Riverpaw squeaked and jolted up in fear. That howl sounded nearby and that did not seem good. She tucked herself tightly into the back of the small den, hiding under the ferns.

Sofie was startled as Andre rushed past. Then the howl made her skin crawl. It almost sounded like a howl for help. Sofie quickly made her decision. She didn’t know why Andre was running, but he couldn’t have done anything super bad in such a short amount of time, right? Besides, she’d know if someone had gotten hurt. Quickly, Sofie jogged over to where she heard the howl. She glanced a stranger in the woods.
Sofie gave a cautious woof, “Who are you?”

He heard the howl, and immediately ran towards it, not knowing who it was. “I hope he has hasn’t found it yet”. He thought to himself.

James howled one last time and saw a figure running towards him. " Hello? Clara is that you?"
