Riverpaw unconsciously scooted closer to Sofie, standing somewhat under her. She still didn't trust anyone here, but she wasn't complaining if Sofie was being protective of her.

(Can’t wait for Christmas!! Hope you guys get some good presents!)
(Also honestly Riverpaw is probably now Sofie’s new child.)
(You too! Happy Holidays!)
Lia flicked her tale around in the air, "Yes, I was cursed, people don't have two forms naturally, not usually as far as I am aware."
“How were you cursed?” Sofie replied, a little confused.
Sofie carefully slid her eyes over to look at Haze. He reminded her of someone. Someone who had hurt her. Sofie shook her head vigorously. Haze wasn’t bad as far as she could tell and besides, Luxia wasn’t evil anymore. He was her friend. But that still didn’t keep her from thinking about all the terrible things Luxia had done to her.
"What was that look for?" the cream colored wolf asked her, ears tipping back as a sign of exasperation.
Lia didn't answer, it wasn't something the wolf needed to know.
Sofie whipped her head to look at Haze, “W-what look?” The silver wolf’s fur rose slowly and deliberately.
"The weird calculating one you just had on your face? I understand suspicion, but that was downright hurtful," he explained in false accusation, shifting his weight to match the raising of hackles. He wasn't about to start a fight, but he'd be darned if he didn't stand his ground. Besides, he wasn't about to deny how satisfying it was getting a rise out of her like that.
“You just… remind me of someone.” Sofie replied, dropping her head and staring intently at her paws.
Riverpaw titled her head up at Sofie, then, without realizing, she leaned closer to the big wolf's leg and brushed it with her tail, emitting a soothing energy to surround them.
Sofie’s head suddenly raised and she looked confused. Her surprise was soon replaced by a feeling of calmness and she wondered where it had come from.
The calm feeling didn’t last long, but Sofie let her fur fall flat and her wings rest at her side. She lowered her head and whispered, “Look, I don’t know where I am or what this place is. All I want is to go home, but I can’t do that without my necklace. So I think I’ll just continue to look for that. And find some food on the way. I don’t want any trouble, I’ve had too much of that. If you want to follow me, then go ahead.” Sofie shivered and turned away, hoping they wouldn’t notice how nervous she was. If anyone figured out what she knew and what she was hiding… it was game over. She was lucky the first time, but she might not be so lucky again.
(Sofie’s got some secrets! :0 Wonder what they are…?)
I look at sofie and I tilt my head a little bit there is some food down the river a couple minutes that way I point in the direction
“What kind of food?” Sofie asked, turning to look at Dk.
She shook her head, “Doesn’t matter. I’m so hungry I can’t even think straight.” She turned to walk in the direction Dk had pointed to.
Ok I follow sofie to the river and leading to the food
Riverpaw made a quiet, surprised noise as she watched Sofie leave, then shuffled in her spot before following her and DK. "W-wait! Uh…can I stick with you, Miss Sofie? For a- just a bit?" She asked, bowing her head.
Haze paused, a contemplative look in his eye. Shrugging, he started following DK, Sophie and Riverpaw.
Lia ignored the Wolves and curled up on her branch, she desperately needed a nap.
Sofie was surprised that the other wolves decided to follow her. She thought she wasn’t very… likable. Or maybe it was because they didn’t know what danger she brought? It didn’t matter. She had company and for once, she could forget about all of her problems.
“Of course you can follow me Riverpaw.” Sofie said, a small smile suddenly appearing on her face.
Riverpaw's ears twitched gratefully, and she smiled a little as well. "Thank you."
