"Shup up drunker." He muttered, leaving her at the porch of the bar, he trekked across the clearing to a dark alleyway from where he disappeared.
"Shup up drunker." He muttered, leaving her at the porch of the bar, he trekked across the clearing to a dark alleyway from where he disappeared.
Elowan pouted, but her face lit up when she noticed someone she recognized sitting outside the bar(Malachi). She wobbled foreward until she was face to face with them.
Malachi stared at the female hunter. She was obviously very drunk and he didn't care to know why. Maybe he could get answers from her. "Um, hi?"
"Hello!" Elowan waved, perhaps a little overenthusiastically.
"What is she up to now." Xavier muttered, hiding behind a building. Pocking his head out he let out a 'hummmm' then went back in, then did it again with the same 'humm', and went back in. He then preceded with doing this act.
Malachi flinched a bit at the loud greeting.
"What made you want to become a dragon hunter?" he asked, not wanting to stick around longer than he had to.
Heathel wasn't paying attention losing Malachi. She flew half way to the bar and walking the rest. She looked inside ordering a drink.
Noticing Heathel walk in the bar, he mentally cursed. He hoped the costume excuse would still work.
"Everything else was far too boring." Elowan quieted when she noticed the boy in front of her flinch.
With Xavier's super powered angel hearing, he listened in on Elowans conversation.
"But why do you kill dragons? Is it just fun for you or is there a legitimate reason?" Malachi questioned further.
'Uhh, so you can live??' Xavier thought, coming out of his hiding place and walking up behind the strange man, "Why would you ask such a stupid question?"
"These dragons have been menacing villages and towns, killing citizens, and taking gold. I'd say that, even though I am murdering for fun, I do have a legitimate reason this time." She beemed at Malachi.
Malachi jumped at the accusatory tone. He frowned, not liking to make people angry. He quickly came up with an excuse.
"Some do it for something that happened in the past, some to protect others. It's not a stupid question."
He nearly shivered at her mention of killing for fun. It infuriated him.
"Their have been destroying supply carts and killing the merchants, we can't have that! If this mess goes on further the towns people will die of starvation."
How could she smile when she was contributing to the cause of so much death?
Elowan frowned back. "I never said it was."
(Xavier did though)
"Not you, him," Malachi said, gesturing to Xavier.
(Xavier did though)
(Sorry)
"We all have to find a way to live in this world." Xavier said, placing his hand on Malachi shoulder, "Life is tough and people have to fight for their rights."
(No don't be! She's drunk remember?)
(No don't be! She's drunk remember?)
(I'm really confused now :(
Malachi wanted to run at the moment Xavier placed his hand on his shoulder. It was cold. He was also just like the woman before him. A killer.
