"How am I supposed to trust you." said Arthur flatly, barely keeping tears at bay as memories flooded his vision.
"How am I supposed to trust you." said Arthur flatly, barely keeping tears at bay as memories flooded his vision.
"I wouldn't of even woke you up from your nightmare if you couldn't trust me," Shadow said.
(Have to go. Can't use laptop in current class)
(Cool)
"Anyone would've done that…" said Arthur.
(Back until lunch. I don't take my laptop with me there. I'll be on when I can in class)
"Not anyone I know," Shadow said.
"At the very least the would've woken me up to make it worse…" he said sadly, "I've had it happen before…"
(Cool)
"Yeah, but I wouldn't have tried comforting you if I didn't want you to trust me," Shadow said.
"Again, I've had people do that then turn it on me as a sick joke."
"I'm not that cruel," Shadow said. "I'm here for you."
"You sure seemed like it yesterday."
"I thought I explained this to you earlier."
"I told you, I have no reason to trust you, and every reason not to."
"You have reasons to trust me. You just don't know it. You'll discover those reasons soon."
Arthur frowned, "No I don't…. not ones that can contend with the reasons not to." he said, backing away again.
(I got busy)
"You can trust me, I promise," Shadow said.
"Not good enough" said Arthur softly, turning to go and walking off.
Shadow followed him. "You can trust me!"
Arthur was about to answer when his eyes went wide, memories flooding out of nowhere, causing him him to fall to his knees, trembling.
Shadow ran up to him. "What's wrong?"
Arthur couldn't answer as he desperately tried to push visions of those red eyes, and the deathly whispers, out of his mind.
"Are you okay?!" Shadow asked, growing quite concerned.
Arthur shook his head, trying to push memories away, when suddenly everything went black and he passed out.
"What am I supposed to do?!" Shadow asked, though there was no one around.
Arthur unconsciously curled into himself at the loud noise, tense, his face etched with a look of fear.
"I'll help you!" Shadow said.
Arthur stayed silent, unconscious on the forest floor.
