Jez jumped at the sudden appearance of Jasper, "oh hey" he turns to her, concerned.
"Did they do anything to you?" He asks, a little defensive now.

She took a while to respond, her gaze looked slightly distracted.
"no …they didn't." She spoke simply, looking down at her hands holding onto her knees with the too small everything, hugging onto her body, almost so much so you could see her Ribs.

Jez's face heats up "w-what?" He scoffs "I mean..thank you." He says, embarrassed now. Though it made his chest feel all warm. The fact that the person he was so protective over actually cared for him. It meant something special.
"I missed you too" he admits "I was hoping you'd come up here"

June waited for Darius to be out of hearing range before she spoke, "It was my brothers, he and I took care of Dare, I mean, he does need to be taken care of..but we were all together in the camp with a few others, it got ambushed and we ran, Darius went one way, me and Dev, my brother, went another. I wasn't paying attention, but next thing I know, He got attacked by one of..those and died." She said sadly
