(I love that. I feel like Rainnee would be like "Guys stop" and no one would listen to her)
Rainnee scoffed. "For once?" She placed her hand of her heart jokingly as though she was offended "I'm wounded." She ran over to a suit of armor. "A million bucks. How much you wanna bet this suit is haunted?" She asked, joking. She was in an excellent mood. She had loved castle since she was little and pretended to be a princess. Now she finally got to be in one. "Who want's to go exploring?"
(OH MY GOD YES SERIC WOULD DO THAT)
"Ghost? Singular?" Seric repeated, staring up above her at the tall ceilings and staircases. "I bet tons of ghosts are here. at least, like… I don't know, three? Four? Probably four."
"Who wants to go exploring?" Rainnee asked.
Seric's hand shot up and immediately she started up the stairs energetically. The space was huge, only fueling this spark.
Amelia was smiling, laughing at their guesses. "There are about 6 ghosts, although most of them are harmless. I'd watch out for the third door on the left, west wing, on the top floor though." She muttered under her breath. she ended up tossing her platform boots to the side as the ran to catch up with Seric and Rainnee.
Rainnee ran up the stairs after her, passing Seric and continuing up the endless flight of stairs.
"What do you think we'll find?"
She asked excitedly. She wanted to find something creepy. Something old and decrepit. Maybe something gross. Who knows. Just something interesting.
"First stop, the third door on the left, west wing, on the top floor"
(Another idea: each of the characters use different pronouns for Finley XD )
Finley snickers and jumps down from the ledge, then trots over to the suit of armor.
They start to mess about with the armor, moving it weirdly.
"OoOOOooooOOoooOOO i'M a HaUnTeD sUiT oF aRmOuR!!!" they call out before bursting into a fit of laughter.
They drop the suit of armor and follow after Rainnee.
"NAKEH GRANDMA!" they reply loudly with a snicker.
She shook her head as she followed after the group of teens, "yes of course let's go to most haunted place here." She muttered to Frederick her ferret. He was on her shoulder, nodding.
She didn't want to tell anyone but she hated ghost stories.
They freaked her out…she didn't know why she decided to come on this trip in the first place.
She was a little scared when she saw the armor move before realizing it was just fin. She huffed at him following them.
"Maybe.. a dead body?" She spoke, trying to add onto the conversation.
"did you hear me saying NOT to go there? really? we're going there anyway?"
"Dead body?" Seric rushes to the front of the group instinctively, then jogs ahead.
"We're going in there anyway?" Amelia asked. Seric turned, continuing but walking backward. She smirked. "Where else? The point is to find the weirdest stuff." She stated it like it was fact, when really she was just curious and wanted to find something scary.
Amelia groaned. "whatever. i'll come, i guess." She was excited, but wouldn't let it show.
She moved to walk in the back of the group letting out a soft sigh. "I suppose everyone's coming then..' She spoke aloud though not very loud to the group. She wasn't expecting a response when she spoke, but she wouldn't be upset if she got one.
"id certainly not want to be left alone in this place. although, i wouldn't be against staying back with you."
"Yes ma'am. Everyone is going anyway." she said, slowing down
(sorry it's short I'm in school rn)
She offered a soft smile at Amelia, "thanks anyway, but I think we're being forced to go anyways."
Seric continued walking at a normal pace. She stopped at the end of the hall, a door on either side and a mirror in front of the group. She looked at the mirror for a moment, then turned back. "Which door?"
"Lets go to the left one" she said, not really giving a chance to respond, as she opened the door and walked in. She saw a bit of movement out of the corner of her eye but dismissed it as her friends. She ran in and ran to the door across the room. She opened it, and on the other side was a large balcony, definitely large enough for all of them. She teetered over the edge, her feet lifting off the ground slightly, threatening to slip at any moment
She shook her head as the lead girl ran into the room first, she was glad she was going to enter most likely last. She didn't want to be in that room as long as possible. She tried not to let anything show on her face, though Frederick nuzzled her face to calm her down.
Her feet touched the ground once again, and she walked around the room. The ceiling was tall, and the windows were as large, if not bigger, than the windows downstairs. There were drapes on the walls, dot really depicting much, just red and gold patterning. There was a matching rug on the floor in the exact center, and an extravagant white and gold bed off to the side. There was a big white dresser on the wall by the door to the hallway, and a matching couch almost in the center, with chairs on each side to go with it, in front of a coffee table. The whole setup was facing a fireplace built into the wall. All of this in a room with cold stone walls. The room was beautiful
"I claim this bedroom!" Amelia said, sitting on the bed. it was beautiful, and if she stayed in this one, nobody else could get too hurt. also, she wanted a chance to try and communicate with the ghost(s) that stayed near this room. (amelia is probably going to be the victim. actually, almost definitely. i wont feel bad.)
(ill keep that in mind >:))
Seric watched Amelia for a moment. She walked down the hall. "I'll take this one," She said, her hand on the door.
"alright. that one is the second-most haunted one, but whatever." she muttered. She had already claimed the most haunted one. there were other bedrooms on various floors and in other wings. there were bathrooms scattered around the buildings, and several office rooms. at least two kitchens. it was a rather big house, but there were only two bedrooms in this wing.
"Good choice. I'm hungry. Anyone else wanna get something to eat?" She said, waiting for an answer for only a moment, before running out of the room, tripping on her own foot, and falling flat of her face. "I'm okay!" She declared before getting up and running towards the stairs. She was way to excited over this, and for the matter, way to clumsy to be running through a castle
"DO YOU EVEN KNOW WHERE THE KITCHEN IS?" Amelia exclaimed. she groaned, locking her room door behind her with the key she found. "WAIT UP!" she said, running after.
