"I know. Without me, you'd be nothing but a pile of dust and bones." Elise grins to herself.

Havenwood laughed. "So I would be."

"Now, what would I do without you?"

"Ah, you'd be fine! You'd be living it up in the city with another man, you'd be great."

"What are you talking about, dummy? You're the only man I'd ever love."

"Aaaah, and you'd be so free in the city. The fresh air on your face and a small child in your arms."

"I'm staying right where I am." She crosses her arms.

"Of course you are." Havenwood grinned at her.

"Duh. Dummy." She kissed him sweetly.

Havenwood smootched back. "Duh indeed."

"I don't have any reasons at all to go back. Not one." She declared.

Havenwood raised his nose. "I'm very glad."

"Well, don't act so snooty. Although, I suppose having me as your fiancee is enough reason to brag." Elise giggled.

Havenwood wiggled his shoulders. "It is a reason to brag."

"Ah, I love you, you adorable-handsome-whatever-thing." She leaned into him, grinning.

"I am a God. And I'm not cute." Havenwood laughed.

"You are to me, cutie." She giggled.

Havenwood waved a hand. "You're cuter."

"No I'm not." Her face creased in annoyance. "You're the cutest and most adorable little thing I've ever seen."

Havenwood grabbed onto his smol. "This cuteness didn't come from me!"

"Well then where did it come from? It had to be you." Elise shrugged, grinning.

He held up the slightly confused Thelisi. "Are you sure??? LOOK AT HIM!"
