(Really? I hadn't noticed. I'm busy helping out a friend with a REALLY serious problem of hers, so I'm kind of exhausted/discouraged at the moment, and I suspect I will be for a while. That's all it is, though.)

Havenwood leaned back into the couch, looking at the wiggling Thelisi. “What’s he doing?”
"Not quite sure, with him." Elise smiled and shrugged.
Thelisi wiggled out of her arms and leaned forward slowly. He giggled wildly as he flailed.
"Oh, no you don't." Elise held the wiggling child tighter.
Thelisi struggled more, giggling more and more.
"Fine, you bugger." Elise set Thelisi down gently on the floor. "But I'm watching you."
Thelisi wiggled on the floor then up at her. He reached up for her, giving an unhappy cry.
"Bipolar, eh?" Elise picked the child up again.
Thelisi immediately continued giggling happily in her arms, leaning away from her.
Elise raised an eyebrow and sat down on the floor with Thelisi.
Thelisi still leaned out of her arms, giggling wildly.
“What do you want?” Elise set him down.
Thelisi bumped to the ground and burst out crying.
"Oh god. C'mere. It's okay. Shhh." Elise picked up and comforted the child.
