Something dark falls over Jax's face. "You need not." (He majored in English apparently. Actually that fits those guys are fucking intense.) He glared down at him. "I'm leaving, then, since I'm just so useless. How about you rob a damn bank by yourself?" The question was thicker and louder, as if he'd just come down with a cold, or got something lodged in his throat. He suddenly turned on his heel and fled into the darkening forest, and since he was lithe, small and fast, he disappeared from sight quickly.

He just quietly stood still for a moment and ran after Jax, pushing away his stubborn pride, and he suddenly remembers what he used the money for, "I USED THE MONEY FOR YOU, JAX!" He yelled as he kept running after him, hoping Jax was able to hear him.

Unfortunately, because this asshole of a roleplayer, he didn't hear Leon. He was already out of range, running like he's never run before, his breath echoing in his ears, and a knife worked in between his ribs. Despite his body's anger with his sudden rage and speed, he kept running, hoping, if Leon was following him, he -Leon- would get tired and stop first.

Leon was currently high on adrenaline, since he wasn't going to lose one of the people he knows, so he kept running after Jax, "LISTEN YOU DUMB ASS, I USED THE MONEY FOR YOU!" He yelled, again, hoping to catch Jax's attention. His throat was slightly hoarse from yelling and the air going into his throat while he was yelling.

He heard Leon, but it sounded something like, "Listen dumb ass money is you!" Jax shakes his head and continued running, his body supplying adrenaline, as he lept over roots, rocks and small animals.

He kept running, even though his legs wanted to give out, and was finally able to run faster than Jax so he ran straight into him and pinned him, with his front on the ground, "Now listen to me you dumb ass, I used the money for you!" He said and was breathing slightly heavily.

Jax himself was also panting heavily, and a fox from the shadows gave them a suggestive look before hopping away. Jax struggled under Leon's weight, a bead of sweat dripping off of his nose.

Jax scrambled up, walked a few more feet, then tripped over a small pebble and fell gently.

Night has fallen, and the faint moonlight was raining down over them now. Jax glowered at one of the glowing leaves as if it had done something wrong.

Jax didn't say much, nor did he sleep. He just stared transfixed at the starry sky above.

Leon's eyes started to get heavy and he decided to take a nap. Instead, he fell asleep with his back still leaning on a tree.

Jax glared over at him occasionally as Leon snored. Without a wink of sleep, he rose at the crack of dawn and slipped away into the underbrush.

Leon woke up when the sun was shining in his face and looked for Jax as he got up.
