Valentina watched the spider. "Hey that's really cool how you do that…" She commented as she shut her book.

He starts when hea actually spoken to before looking at the spider. He chuckled nervously. "It's kinda what I do. Shadow manipulation to an extent. I've been practicing for ages. I can create larger things… but most people fear spiders." He shrugged. "So I'm good at making them."

"No I think spiders are super cute and cool. My brother has a tarantula and she's the coolest pet ever." She smiled, showing off her vampiric fangs. She rarely smiled or talked so animated. Or rarely went out of her way at all.

Kioshi tried to avoid smiling past her canines but she did wave and walk up to them "My name is Kioshi nice to meet you" she held out her hand for a hand shake

Riana took her hand, also saying, "My first name is Marie, but please call me Riana." The new kid should be fun to mess with.

Runaan smiles, "They're comforting creatures." He replies, the shadow disappearing with a flick of his wrist. "I have a husky at home… my brother has a snake." he laughs quietly, tilting his head a little at the other, a warm smile on his lips. It had been a while since someone willingly spoke to him.

"I'm not the biggest fans of dogs because werewolves but I love snakes. I've been trying to convince my parents to get me one for years." She said with a smile. "If you don't mind me asking,but what's your name? And what you reading there?"

Runaan looks up and shrugs. "Understandable." He chuckles quietly before thinking for a moment. "My name's Runaan… It's nice to meet you." He says kindly. "As for the book I'm reading it's called Dreamcatcher, written by a human named Stephen King. I enjoy it." he chuckles quietly.

"I'm Valentina. I like Edgar Allen Poe myself." She smiled, finishing her food.

"Edgar Allen Poe is interesting enough." he chuckles in reply, eating happily. He wasn't finished yet, since he was so busy reading his book.

"I love the slow horror,the way it draws you in." She smiles. "I've read Stephen King as well though."

"That is also a fair point." He chuckles quietly before placing his book back into his bag and turning to face Valentina. "What else do you like?" He asks curiously.

"Well,you seem pretty interesting." She shrugs. "I like cats though. And… history. History is wonderful."

He smiled a little bit at that. Interesting? Hardly. He chuckles. "Cats are indeed wondrous creatures. And I love history." He giggles his eyes shutting blissfully. "It's the best."

She nodded in agreement. "How do you bend shadows like that? It's really amazing."

He hummed with thought before shaking his head. "I have no idea." He shrugs. "I was born with it…" That and the other thing… "I've just been able to?"

"Well I've never seen anything like that before. What else can you do with it?"

"Well, I can create things, turn myself into shadows and use them to hide." He shrugged a little before smiling. "Haven't really tried anything else."

"That's super cool." She smiled kindly,and packed up her stuff. "I wish I had powers like that."

"It's a little bit annoying. Especially at night. Harder to control." He laughs quietly before standing up as well.

She looked up at him and stood up. "I can imagine. I love the night. The mysteries and romance that can happen,the fears the livelihood…" She tucked back her hair.
