“Sure, if you want to get your ass kicked.” She looked over her shoulder at him for a moment before back to the path ahead.
“Sure, if you want to get your ass kicked.” She looked over her shoulder at him for a moment before back to the path ahead.
Felix chuckled, shaking his head slightly. "That is a chance I'm willing to accept." He sat up just a bit, smirking down at Aramis. "But we'll just have to see about that."
Aramis laughed, “Alright then.” She slowed down her pace as they headed back to the school.
Felix stood on Aramis' back as she slowed, and he jumped off to jog next to her. "What, do you not think I would win?" He asked playfully. "You may have larger strides, but I have size and shape on my side." He made a rather feminine motion with his body, referring to his small, slender build.
Aramis laughed, “Yes, but I’m still faster then you. Just because you’re small it doesn’t mean that your fast. I have no doubt you are but I’ll still beat you.”
"Hm. Challenge accepted, Aramis Utarian." Felix said, sticking his tongue out a little.
Aramis stuck her tongue out too before shifting back into her human form, only to fall down again with an oof, “For God’s sake.” She muttered
Felix gasped, shifting as well and rushing over to her. "Are you alright?" He asked, kneeling by her side.
Aramis nodded, “Yeah, just a little embarrassed.” She said, looking at him with a small smile.
Felix tried to return the expression, but was still worried for her. "A-about what? Why did you fall?"
“I Uh… I had an accident when I was younger that left my legs unbalanced when I’m human. I can still walk fine but they give out occasionally.” She explained.
"O-oh..Stars, Aramis, I-I'm sorry. I um..l-let me help you up?" Felix threw his arm over her back and put his other hand on her shoulder.
“Thank you.” Aramis said quietly as she stood up with his help. She wobbled a little and had to use him to balance herself.
"Of course." Felix nodded. He let her compose herself before slowly letting her go, keeping his hand on her shoulder just in case.
Aramis tried taking a step and nearly fell again, her grip on Felix’s shoulder tightened a little.
Felix barely flinched when Aramis' nails dug into his shirt, and he took careful steps with her as she tried to walk. "Are you doing okay?" He asked quietly.
“I-I think so… normally I can walk fine by now but…” She gently tried to let go of his shirt and hold her own weight but quickly grabbed it again, “I-I don’t understand…”
Felix raised his brow in concern. He figured she must've done this many times before, but now she almost sounded as worried as he did. Something is wrong. "M-maybe it's because you were just running a-and didn't give yourself a break before shifting? I-I should take you to the nurse's office.."
“Normally I can run and shift fine. Yeah, I can be a little wobbly but I’m fine after a few moments,” She looked at her feet, “Yeah… yeah nurses office sounds great right now.”
Felix nodded again, rubbing her arm comfortingly and letting some of his magic trickle out. His little brother had once called it 'lovey-glitter', because of its calming properties. And because it apparently sparkled sometimes. "Um..should I carry you?" He gave Aramis a curious look, hoping he didn't sound weird.
Aramis blushed slightly, “P-Probably.” She said quietly, wrapping her arms around the others neck.
Without a second thought, Felix swept his other arm under Aramis' legs and hiked her up off the ground, holding her bridal style. The second he looked at her and realized how close they were now, he felt his face become warm. "Ah..a-are you comfortable?" He asked.
Aramis looked up at him and smiled warmly, “As comfortable as I could be.” She said quietly, resting her head on his chest.
This…is…new.. Felix cleared his throat, shaking his head as he started walking. Once he got back into the building, he tried his best to navigate himself and not get distracted by the girl in his arms. He kept trying to tell himself that he literally trains for this, to be the 'hero' and save the damsel in distress and all that, but now that it was actually happening…he was having some trouble. As soon as he finally found the nurse's office, he carefully put Aramis back on her feet and knocked on the door.
An older women answered, she had nearly white hair that sat at her waist and looked at them both with soft, gently eyes. Aramis swallowed and placed a hand on Felix’s shoulder to steady herself. She’d lost feeling in her feet and was starting to in her legs.
“Hello, how may I help you both?” The nurse asked.
