Athena got off Bren’s back. He had to gain his balance back, his legs were all jiggly now. Athena sighed, “Well, that was fun! I should probably get going to class now, Ms. Gorth will be mad I’m late,” Athena rubbed the back of his head, “See you later! If you want to meet after school, I’ll be here at three forty-five!” Athena said with a playful salute as he ran to his next class.

Bren waved a hand and looked around. What now? His next class wasn't until 2:15.

Felix reared up and batted gently at the butterfly, balancing on his hind legs as the tiny thing landed on his nose and stayed there for a moment before fluttering away. He went back down and shook his head, going back over to Aramis. "Please excuse that.." He mumbled.

Aramis giggled, “Don’t worry about it, it was kinda cute.” She said before bounding ahead on the path.

Felix slowled down for a moment. Cute.. haven't been called that in a while. He cleared his throat and caught up with Aramis' stride once more. "You are very fast, Aramis, even for just walking. Maybe it's because you're so much bigger, so your steps are wider.."

@ElderGod-Carrots

“Probably, you could most likely be able to ride on my back, I guess that’s a plus for you,” She looked at Felix and gave the best grin she could before stopping and bending down slightly, “Get on, if you want.”

Aramis smiled playfully, “Come on, don’t be a baby, it’ll be fun.” She said, her tail swishing back and forth.

(hoi)

Felix narrowed his eyes. "I am no baby." He promptly climbed up onto Aramis' back, carefully setting himself with his paws on her shoulders. "Hm..this is quite strange." He mumbled to himself.

Felix let out a tiny yip as they took off, lowering his head into Aramis' neck fur and watching the trees whiz by. He resisted the urge to use his claws to hold on better.
