Crystal’s monster strength disappeared fully. She dropped to her knees. “We…actually did it?”

"We're not out yet." Ale acknowledged, smiling softly. "Can you walk?" He asked, coddling her, as he stood.

Ale helped Crystal get to her feet, the definition and size of her musculature fading back to normal.

Ale began to walk out of the Asylum, stepping over dead bodies. Somewhere along the line he found the dead body of a 9' tall, macabre-looking androgynous thing of indeterminate age. Another experiment. He waited for Crystal.

Crystal stepped out side. She took a deep breath, and tapped Alec’s shoulder. “That strength… they experimented on me… I was going to be like one of those monsters… but something made me stay myself in a way…” She took a sniff of the fresh air. Flowers bloomed, trees blowing gently in the wind. Peace was all around her.

"Christ…" Ale said. "They Must've snuck it into your food. If I had to hypothesize on the reason, I'd say you bled it out, by cutting yourself…"
Something dawned on Ale. After only a few days of hellish experience, he'd come out smarter, stronger. He was in a sense, a better person.

(Also, side note, his name is intentionally Ale, spelled A-L-E, and pronounced as ail, I'm sure you knew that, I heard something about your autocorrect, so yeah… Don't worry, in case you're wondering I'm not mad, just a note.)
