Jordan picks himself up from the ground. He twitches sharply and crikes his neck. He curses and walks into the room, "I used to have to draw all the time back at the SPCA…"
"cool!" the young boy said as he handed jordan some paper and pencils "me and my sister used to draw alot to"
A young nurse walks up to the room and softly knocks on the door frame. "Asher? I have your meds, dear."
How is she?" Jordan didnt think before asking. He had started to draw one of his horses named 'Mummy.'
"are they the bubbblegum ones? i like those!" asher responded his voice excited " they taste like candy" asher said to jordan not hearing his question
The nurse walks in, smiling at Jordan as she crouches next to Asher. "Sorry, hun, your friend did tell me you like those, but I couldn't find any. Think you can settle for blueberry?" She sets down the basket of items she has with her, holding up a small bottle.
Jordan doesnt look up as he disappears into his memories of the rescue horses mostly. Especially 'Mummy' Who was his newest rescue
"im alergic to blueberries" he said with a pout "they make my face go all red and puffy it hurts.' they biy said to the nice nurse

Elijah had stayed outside of the room when Asher had gone in, not completely sure where he was supposed to go. He stood up now, feeling around the door for the handle. It was still unlocked. He pushed open the door slowly before closing it behind him quietly. "Ollie?" He said, his hands out in the air to stop himself from bumping into anything that might've been there. "Where are you?"
The nurse nodded, putting the bottle down and picking up two others. "How about strawberry or grape?"
"Grape!" he cheered "i love grape it tastes even more like candy then bubblegum" he takes the meds "what do the meds do anyway?" he asks the nurse
Jordan looks up, finishing the drawing and setting the paper down infront of him
Oliver looks up when he hears someone enter. "Elijah?" He calls softly, lifting his head. He rustles forward, his chain chinking against each other and the ground. "I'm by the far wall." he whispers. Elijah seemed to calm Oliver down a bit more than any of the inmates since Elijah had always been kind towards Oliver.
Asher looks at the drawing "thats super cool! you draw so well. what type of horse is that?"
the boy asks
"I-" Elijah cut himself off. "Okay?" He asked, hesitantly stepping forward and nearly tripping over himself a couple times until he reached the wall. He moved down it until his foot hit the chain. He knelt down, hoping he was at least facing the general direction of Oliver.
The woman put the other bottle back, and thought for a moment. "Each type of medicine does something different for different people. In this case, especially with how you've been lately, it'll keep you calm so that you aren't so scared and..crying." She patted the boy's head and and took the bottle back from him once he'd taken some. She then stood up and went to the door. "Let me know if you need anything else, hun."
Oliver feels his chain move and he feels around before feeling a face. He pulls away, unsure if Elijah likes physical contact. His bottom lip quivers and he smiles. "Why did you come in here Elijah?" he asks softly, glad for the others presence. He sighs softly and shakes his head, "Either way… thank you." Oliver says softly.
"Palamino. Yeah… Her name is… Was… Im not sure… Uhm… 'Mummy'." He sighs exasperatedly to himself, No. She is alive. She is fine. She has to be! She was the strongest in will at the that place her entire life
(I just realized that if he couldnt open doors with his bandaged hands then how was he able to draw… Pfft whatever.)
