Jordan rocked back and forth in his chair. His eyes where over wide at the screaming all around him. It rang in his ears like the ones of the animals he once took care of. He bit down as hard as he could on his already bandaged hands. He tries desperately to tear them off.
Asher calmed down and walked out of olivers room in scilence
asher walked into his room and locked the door in scilence
Riverpaw ran to Asher's room knocking on the door quietly. "Asher? A-are you okay?"
Oliver sniffles softly, shaking his head. He curled in on himself, shaking with fear as he tries to calm down. Echoes of the past vibrate in his mind, his eyes are clenched shut as he mumbles to himself.
Asher unlocks the door and sits back down sobing as he thinks that he hurt oliver and he feels realy bad about it
Jordan curled up slightly where he was. His free hand was trying to cover his ears from the screams that reverberated in his skull. He opens his eyes and they grow overly wide. Infront of him he could see the over fifty cages of malnourished dogs
Riverpaw walks in slowly, seeing Asher on the floor next to the door. She got down and sat on her knees, wrapping her arms around him. "I-I think Oliver stopped crying..are y-you okay?"
the delicate boy shook and said "he sounded like my big sister before her suicide and and it… " he cut himself off by crying some more as his body was racked with sobs. her hugged his bunny and cried into its fur
Jordan shook his head and the cages where gone to the depths of his room. He stands, twitches and walks out of his room.
Riverpaw pulled him closer, rubbing his back slowly. "I-I know, it's o-okay…" She took a deep breath, trying not to let his crying provoke her own tears.
"i i miss i miss her so much!" he said calming down a bit his sobs are more infrequent he hugs riverpaw tightly "you remind me of her your smart and nice and really pretty just like her"
Riverpaw smiled, feeling her face heat up a bit. It wasn't often someone complemented her like that. Then again, it wasn't often anyone in an asylum got complemented. "Th-thanks…" She sniffled a bit, pressing her face to his shirt. "..Uh..y-you want me to go get o-one of the nurses? M-maybe she can get you something to eat?"
Jordan walked slowly down the hall. He was brand new to the asylum and so he just wandered aimlessly.
please?" he kinda half smiled at riverpaw "i think i need my meds" he said his voice hoarse from crying he gave riverpaw a small hug
(I missed a bit, so I’ll do my best to jump in.)
Vaughn paced back and forth in his room, his fingers twitching slightly at he did so. He muttered to himself, an emotionless look on his face. But there were glints of frustration in his grey eyes. “No, I can’t do that. We need the medication,” he mumbled to himself.
You’re perfectly healthy, there’s nothing to fix. Don’t you want me to stay?, a voice hissed in the back of his mind.
“They told me I was sick, and you’re no doctor,” he told the imaginary whisper. “It’s the closest thing to getting wasted, and it helps me sleep. You know that,” he responded. All the voice did was give a short cackle.
She nodded, slowly let go of Asher, and stood up to leave. She wandered around for a minute before finally finding a nurse in one of the halls and telling her about her friend. The woman, who was much kinder about the situation than Riverpaw thought she'd be, hurried over to the hall Asher's room was in.
Asher was sitting in the corner coloring in his coloring book talking to himself "no im okay. stop it sis im not trying to replace you riverpaw just reminds me of you. your still my favorite dont wory Ruby. yes of course i love you you my big sis." he talked as if a person was there
Jordan walks around the halls. Every time he passed a patient's room he covered his ears and shook like leafe caught in a high wind. He couldnt open any of the doors because of how severely bandaged his hands where.
ashers door is open if you want to talk to him//
just if you do i dont care//
Jordan saw an open door and peeked inside. He thought it was the bathroom but of course he was wrong. There was patient inside and in the corner, drawing. He looked young. A bit too young for an asylum.
His eyes twitch and he jerks his head up. Near the patient was the last dog that had to be put down. A beautiful German Shepard that had been diagnosed with PROVO which was a deadly disease for any animal. His eyes widen and he shrieks, doubling back into the hallway.
asher noticed the guy standing in the open doorway "hi are you new?" he asked "the doggy seems to like you" he said geustering to the german sheperd
[i hat PROVO my aunt was fostering some puppies with it]
(Oh! You know about it?)
Jordan had fallen agaisnt the opposite wall of the asylum. The German Shepard had vanished from his sight, "H-How did you…" He pointed to where it was once.
