Tino looks at the other, his eyes going wide. He manages a small smile and runs his hand delicately through her hair. He bites his lip, his hand holding hers squeezing hers gently. "Never." He whispers. He holds her hand, lacing their fingers, sighing quietly, shutting his eyes. He would stay be her side. Always.
"I've heard that before…." Jeff chucked
//alright
Patch relaxes. She leans into his hand that’s running through her hair. “That feels good.” She murmurs. Patch sighs happily and shivers. “So cold.” She subconsciously squirms towards his body heat. She shuts her eyes and begins to drift. But into dreamland this time. Not ever loving death.

Tino holds her, his eyes shutting. He smiles a little, kissing her forehead. He pulls the blankets over them, keeping her warm. He stayed awake, his body holding still so she could sleep peacefully. He held her in a loving grip. I don't know what I feel towards you, Patch. But I want to protect you. He sighs, leaning his head back, staring at the ceiling. I promise.

(Errr… maybe have Asher sneak around the mansion gathering black mail? You can initiate new canon characters for him to interact with? I don’t know.)

~a little after midnight~
Patch was standing in the middle of a kitchen. It was a mess all around her. Things were knocked off of counters and there was shattered glass. She heard a voice. She followed it to a living room. There were two people there. One was a boy who had shaggy red hair and blue eyes. The other person was a gaunt adult male, clearly drunk. ‘Who are you? Where am I?’ She tried to say, but the words wouldn’t come out. She watched helpless, frozen as the older human started to beat on the younger one. He screamed profanities at the nice looking boy. Finally the man left, swigging from a glass bottle. The boy struggled to his feet. He looked so tired. He pulled something out of his jean waistband. It was a pistol. He put it to his head. Patch screamed “NO!” Not sure why she was so scared. He turned towards her and smiled. He mouthed. “This is for you.” And pulled the trigger.
Patchwork woke up suddenly, she shot up. She was gasping for breath. She didn’t know why, but she started to cry. She hunched over and buried her face in her hands, sobbing.
(Ha ha! Mystery! Ha ha!)
He was sleeping when he felt her move. He opens his eyes, his gentle hands taking her into his chest, running a hand through her hair. "Shhh." He whispers. "Don't cry." He whispers, holding her. "Everything is going to be alright." He soothes. He hugs her, rocking her back and forth. He remembered the song he had sung to her, before quietly singing.
Wild wolf please.
Leave us be.
I know you’re prowling,
Out from the forest,
To come steal from me.
I know your pain,
Cubs hungry again,
But you won’t take mine from me.
Wild wolf please.
Why don’t you feed,
From the scraps that I leave.
I promise this.
If my child you kiss.
That’s the last thing you’ll do….
His voice was soft, silky and gentle. He holds her, hushing her and assuring her quietly.
(😍😍😍 YOU USED THE SONG!!!!!! You have no idea how happy you’ve just made me.)
Patch leans into Tino and lets herself be rocked. She doesn’t know why she’s so sad about that dream. Patch whimpered, “I’m scared Tino.” She listens to him sing. He had a wonderful voice. The heterochromiac girl slowly calmed down. Her sobs faded to little hiccups. She was still so tired, but she didn’t want to go to sleep, afraid of what awaited her in her mind.
He holds her, his eyes shutting. He smiles down at her, resting a kiss to her forehead. "Shhh. I will always protect you." He whispers. He gazes at her lovingly. "There's no need to be frightened. I will always be here for you." He whispers. He runs a hand through her hair. "I'll never leave your side." He whispers, running a hand through her hair. "I promise."
Patch started to settle into Tino’s warm grasp, her eyes getting droopy as he ran his hand through her hair. She yawned happily as he promised never to leave her. Her eyes then widened as she starts to remember. “W-what happened? Where’s Masky? How’d I get here? Why does it hurt everywhere?” She started to hyperventilate, becoming increasingly more panicked. She repeats only one question though, “Where’s Masky?!” She started to tangle herself into Tino, scared out of her mind that that monster was gonna come back again.
He looks down at her before hugging her closely, trying to calm down. "Y-you were abducted by Masky." He whispers, holding her close, his eyes welling up with tears. "I don't know where that sick bastard is, but he's not coming near you anymore." He whispers. "I made sure of that." He whispers. "Calm down, it's okay." He didn't want her to be this panicked. "Shhh. He's not coming near you ever again." He whispers. Tino held her, just assuring her he wasn't going to hurt her anymore, that she was safe. He holds onto her, explaining everything he knew.
(You know, I find it hilarious that on a school night, I’m up until one role playing and the forum’s just a mess of opinions, coordinating, and jokes. But I’m actually up at night with no school the next day, and I’m literally just going back and forth with one person.)
(lol)
Frightened tears roll down her face. “W-why does everywhere hurt?” She groans and hisses as pain shoots through her. She lifts up her shirt a little to look at her stomach where the worst pain was. It was covered in bandages. She gingerly pulled back the white cloths. The skin was a mess of stitches and scratches. It didn’t even look like skin anymore. She quickly put the bandages back, covering her mouth as she tried not to retch, her eyes wide.
He holds her, "I don't know, Patch." He whispers. When she pulled away to reveal her bandaged stomach, he winced. When he saw the stitches his eyes widen completely and he grabs her into his gentle warmth. "It's okay. I-I'm so sorry I couldn't save you in time, Patch." He whispers, holding her, resting his head on her shoulder. "I'm so sorry…" He mutters, kissing her forehead. He didn't know what to do. What had he done? She was injured because he hurt her…
Patch gulped down all the bile that was trying to come up. “I-it’s okay. I-it’s not like it was y-your fault.” She bit back a moan. “T-Tino. I n-need some p-pain killers. R-remember my gray b-bag? It has some Ibuprofen in it. Can you g-grab the bottle and some w-water for me?” She hunched over as another wave of pain hit.
"I've got it." He says gently, nuzzling her before hurrying to grab the Ibuprofen. He rushes back to her side with the pills and the water, handing them to her. He sits back next to her, his eyes filled with concern and love as he holds her. He was never gong to see her like this. Because he was going to protect her, no matter what.
“Thanks.” She whispered gratefully before popping a couple pills in her moth and washing them down. She sighs. “This week’s gonna be a long one. Who knows if I’ll even be able to move properly ever again. This sucks. Two days of actually having a home, and I face the possibility of getting thrown out because, let’s face it, I’m never going to be able to move as well again.” A couple tears slip down her face. Then she chuckles in a very sad way. “I’ll have to leave you if that does happen. I’d rather know you’re safe and warm here than follow me to my death.” She spasms again. “Crap. Wish the medicine would work faster.”
(Imma thinking Imma apply my earlier idea very, very soon. [Eek! I’m so excited!] Don’t know how kissing working role plays though. Guess I’ll just have to roll with it.)
He looks at her as she takes her meds, his eyes concerned as he holds her. He runs soothing circles on her shoulders, making sure she was okay. "He won't kick you out. He was the one who saved us." He whispers. "When we were in the forest there were more proxies. I didn't know what to do. He won't kick you out Patch." His eyes widen when she said that she was going to probably have to leave and she'd have to separate. He shakes his head. "No Patch. I'd rather face impending doom than knowing you're alone while I'm here in a warm bed. I'd rather stay with you and be able to protect you." He said firmly, his eyes filled with pain and sorrow. He had been abandoned so many times. He didn't want her to leave him too.
