Nixon looked around the room again, unfazed by the cigarette. "Nice to meet you Rvan."

Braving through the 'party', Opal noted people puking, falling, and staggering. Almost repulsed, her heels inclined back to the wall, on instinct. She just needed to get to the kitchen… the house was a mess. Spilled beer, vomit, it was a miracle she got there with her skin intact. She saw that the people here were at least sober, thank the lord.
Elizabeth sat on the couch, talking and laughing with people. At this point in the night, you couldn't tell she was drunk, you would just think she was having a good time. Someone handed her a bottle of cider and she sipped it, forgetting her guilt with every gulp. Elizabeth ended up getting up and wandering around. Maybe she was looking for the bathroom, she didn't remember. All she knew was that she ended up in the quietest space in the house, and she didn't realize how much she missed the quiet. "Oh." She gave a small hiccup, looking around at a couple people. She stood next to a boy holding a cigarette. "Ello. You're the smart lot."
Natalie’s throat constricted again. More people?? Struggling to keep calm, she offered the girl a wavering smile. “H-Hi. Yeah. Um— hi.” The girl looked slightly drunk, which made Natalie involuntarily take a tiny step back
Elizabeth pointed to a space on the ground next to the refrigerator. "Is it all right if I sit there? If not I understand. You're trying to get away from the party people and it seems as though I am one of them at the moment, does't it?"
Natalie shook her head quickly. “No, no— you’re— you’re fine—“, she replied anxiously, afraid she had offended. “I didn’t mean to—“
"No, no, you didn't do anything," Elizabeth said, waving her off and sitting down. "I just know how it is. Not upset bout it. Usually, I'm not one of them, I'm one of you. I'm just in disguise at the moment." She crossed her legs and leaned against the wall, closing her eyes. "So. How're you?"
Natalie shifted nervously. “I’m not— I’m not a huge party person so… I’m— I’m Natalie by the way.” She swallowed, taking another sip of water.
"I'm Liz," Elizabeth said, opening her eyes, then shook her head. "Er – Elizabeth. Well it does't really matter. Call me what you please. Beth, Liz, Elizabeth." She brought her knees up to her chest. "Bonus points if you come up wit something I haven't been called yet."
"Eli?" He gave a friendy smile "I'm Nixon."
"Clever," she remarked, looking up at him. "Haven't heard that one. Ello Mr. President." She gave a small wave and a smile.
Nixon laughed "That I have heard a few times."
"Well pardon my unoriginality," Elizabeth said with a wave of her hand. She started to put her head down and put it back up. "I think I'm drunk at the moment," she said, slightly surprised. "Do I seem like it?"
"Yeah I'm pretty sure your drunk." He answered leaning his elbow on the counter
"Hm," Elizabeth said, nodding solemnly. "Sober-me isn't gonna like that. Gonna be too harsh on herself, poor dear."
Nixon dug into the cooler and grabbed a waterbottle. "Here drink this it'll help sober you." He gave a goofy smirk and offered the plastic bottle.
"Hydration I presume?" Elizabeth accepted the bottle and opened it. She smiled at Nixon in thanks and took a swig. "Damn that's cold," she muttered.
(bump)
"Hydration is good for you, yeah it was in the cooler." Nixon said turning, shifting to lean his back against the edge of the counter.
