Aliana gave him a smile in return as they walked feeling the chill disipate completely. She glanced back to make sure nothing was there before looking back forward, "I don't think it followed us."

Hatta nodded a little. "Alright. Good." he replied, and kept walking.
Aliana continued walking with him. She started to hum softly to calm her nerves.
Hatta whistled along with her, eyes studying her for a moment.
Hatta whistled along with her, eyes studying her for a moment.
Aliana glanced at Hatta and stopped her humming to quietly ask, "Is something wrong?"
Hatta shook his head. "No, I'm just…wondering what you felt. Down that pathway." he said.
"It's," Aliana paused and shuddered as she remembered what she felt, "It started with just a shiver down my spine. And then it was two. It was like something wanted me to be afraid and so it made me be afraid. I, I hated it."
Hatta nodded a little. "I don't know what that could be." he replied softly. "I've never experienced that before."
"Yeah," Aliana trailed off. She looked at the ground, "Can we not talk about it anymore?"
Hatta nodded. "Yeah, sure." he replied softly.
(gtg to bed now. Good night!)
"Thank you," Aliana whispered as they walked.
(Night!)
Hatta nodded again. "You're welcome." he replied, glancing behind them for a moment.
Aliana kept going trying to forget about the chill. It wouldn't stop poking at her mind and she hated it. She couldn't do anything about it, and she knew the monster wasn't following them.
Hatta swallowed, and shook his head a little as they walked. He didn't know what Aliana had felt, and he wasn't sure he wanted to find out.
Aliana continued on starting to hum again as if she could act normal after what she felt.
Hatta began to whistle along quietly, glancing at her out of the corner of his eye.
Aliana feigned normality, but if you looked hard enough you could tell she was breaking down. She didn't know what happened, but she couldn't explain it.
Hatta kept an eye on her carefully, not sure what would happen.
Aliana was fine for a bit, then she started to tremble a little. Nothing could get her here, she was safe right now. She contiuned to insist that to herself despite the tear that had started to roll down her cheek. Nothing was even causing it this time other than her own mind and it's attempts to unravel what had transpired.
Hatta spotted the tear, and stopped. "Aliana, what's wrong?" he asked softly, raising his eyebrows and looking at her worriedly.
"I," Aliana tried to gather her jumbled thoughts into something coherent, "I don't know what's going on with me."
"Okay." Hatta sighed softly, running a hand through his hair.
"I'm sorry," Aliana muttered more to herself than Hatta. She looked up at him, "Can, can we rest for a minute?"
