Aliana let out another sigh as her eyes felt heavy with sleep.

Hatta was starting to drop off, a sigh leaving his mouth.

Aliana could tell Hatta was falling asleep. She muttered softly as she nuzzled closer to him, "G'night."

Hatta hummed. "Mm. Good night."

Aliana let out a quiet sigh as she let sleep take her over. She hoped she would be safe from the nightmares, but it had been some time.

Hatta was drifting off to sleep, arms still wrapped around her.

Aliana slept for a good part of the night, but her nightmares started up. Before her nightmares had been bad, yes, but never as vivid as this one was. She could hear, feel, taste everything despite her mind trying to cry out it was just a dream. Her body was shaking and crying as she curled up into Hatta.

Hatta woke up after a bit, blinking at her. "Aliana?" his voice was hoarse.

Aliana didn't wake up from her nightmare the scenario only getting worse, but she buried herself further against him. Her sleeping body letting out a quiet sob.

Hatta frowned slightly. "Oh. Aliana, hey, wake up."

Aliana wanted to wake up. She wanted to wake up so damn badly, but she just couldn't. Another quiet sob slipped out as she tried to get out of the nightmare.

Hatta shook her gently. "Shh, Aliana."

Aliana finally forced her eyes opened as he shook her but nightmare and reality melded together. She didn't move from where she waws only curling up further against him. She didn't want him to be mad, she- she didn't want him to hurt her again.

Hatta held her gently, stroking her hair. "Shh. I've got you."

Aliana tensed as she felt him stroke her hair but quickly relaxed to the touches. She whimpered softly, "I- I'm s- Thank you."

Hatta nodded softly. "Mhm. You're okay." he kept stroking her hair gently, trying to soothe her.

Aliana was still shaking and the tears wouldn't stop falling. She buried herself further against him trying to figure out what was going on. All she knew for sure was that Hatta wasn't, Hatta wasn't going to hurt her. At least, she hoped so.

Hatta kept stroking her hair, holding her. "Shh, I've got you. You're going to be okay."

Aliana wanted to believe him. She really did, but. But. But there was no reason not to believe him was there. She buried her head into his neck as she murmured softly, "Promise?"

Hatta nodded slightly. "Of course." he replied in a quiet, gentle tone.

Aliana let out a sigh and her tears finally stopped. She couldn't prevent her body from shaking though, "I'm, I'm sorry for waking you up like this."

Hatta shook his head. "It's okay, love." he replied softly, kissing her forehead.

Aliana still felt guilty, but she felt a little better after that. She nuzzled against him trying not to shake, "I, I, I love you."

Hatta smiled. "I love you too." he whispered back.

Aliana took a deep breath in and out finally getting her body to stop shaking. Her mind finally decided as to what had been a nightmare and what hadn't been.
