" Ah, biochemistry, huh? That's amazing! I think that it would be cool to do something like that. It's different, me, on the other hand, I'm like every other person here." he let out a quick laugh and adjusted his hat. "I don't have any of the skills to pursue a career in any science field. You must be pretty smart. Yeah, I guess I'm lucky that I get to do a creative major, though."
Mari was interesting. She does a lot more exciting things than he does. And biochemistry, talk about exciting. Of course, he loved doing photography though and he never wants to give it up.
"Oh, no way! I love that shop. I shoot in there all the time! I guess I'll see you around there, then." Jonah said as he rocked on his heels. He looked behind him at the train schedule careful not to miss his departure time.

“Oh, yeah,” Mari said with a grin. “Stop by anytime!”
She smiled at Jonah’s enthusiasm for biology. Truth was, she had only taken it to experiment on her own DNA, so she could somehow figure out why her powers worked like they did. She was generally interested in the topic, but more interested in what she could do with the knowledge.
She followed the man’s eyes to the bus schedule.
“Next one’s mine,” she said, taking a sip of her coffee. “Where are you headed?”

" Oh, just downtown. I'm going to shoot at the coffee shop off of 53rd Avenue. The one with the street art on the side of it. Have you ever been?" Jonah said, fidgeting with his bracelets.
His subway came in ten minutes so he still had a bit of time on his hands. He hoped that at the coffeehouse he would get good lighting. " I'm hoping that they will let me borrow some flowers. I love working with flowers."
Jonah said. He really didn't think that Mari cared that much but he didn't care. He did love the coffee shop, though. The baristas were nice and he always met interesting people there.
" Well, good luck with your new job. I'm sure you'll do great." Jonah smiled.

“Thanks,” Mari said with a grin. “I’ll do my best.”
She let out a soft laugh, fidgeting with her coffee cup.
“And yeah, I go to that cafe all the time,” she admitted. “One of my friends works there. You know Ally Westfield? She’s been my friend since third grade.”
Mari kept her eyes on the board, watching the current train storm out of sight. Only a few more minutes.
“I’m surprised I’ve never seen you there,” she said. “Well, unless I have and just don’t remember.”
Mari narrowed her eyes, squinting at Jonah with a smile.
“But I don’t know. You seem pretty unforgettable,” she joked. “The mysterious photographer.”
She gestured with her hand exaggeratedly, thankful the coffee was absent from the cup.
“I’ll remember you. Make sure to stop by the music store once in a while.”

" Oh, yes Ally. She's the one who gives me the flowers. And, she makes the best coffee out of all of them. " Jonah said nodding his head.
" There is no way we haven't seen each other before. I mean, I've taken photos of all the regulars, but not you. Weird." Jonah said trying to think back to where he might have seen Mari.
He turned around to make sure he was still on time. 5 minutes.
" You better remember me. I am now expecting you to call me the mysterious photographer. It sounds like we're in a movie or something," He laughed " and yes I will stop by the music shop."
He gave her a small salute and smiled.

“Whatever movie it is, it’s a pretty cool one,” she said with a smile.
As her subway train screeched to a stop, she kicked forward, saluting back to Jonah as well. She walked backward slightly before turning back around and holding a hand up, in sort of a “bye” gesture.
“Later, mystery,” she said over her shoulder.
Mari stepped onto the subway, taking one of the empty seats. It was generally crowded, but she wasn’t going very far. Though, she promised herself she would walk next time. Crowded places weren’t necessarily her forte.
