( i kinda want to do the second one, if you're cool with that!)
(okay, you wanna do a form or just go in blind? i honestly don't care so it's up to you)
(Probably form or template to fill out? It’s easier for me to organize a character and we could establish powers or whatever beforehand, but I’m really ok with anything. Whatever works for you )
( okay, here give me a quick moment to get it together!)
feel free to add more if you like :)
okay here is the form:

(I’ll fill it out in a while. Sorry for the delay!)
(Ok, here we go. Let me know if I need to change anything!)
name: Mari Taneshi
gender: Female
age: 20
appearance: Mari has long, wavy hair that reaches down to just below her shoulders. It’s lighter white toward the bottom, and dark brown toward the roots. Her eyes are bright orange and she’s almost always wearing a sarcastic smile. Her body is fit with little to no curve, and she stands at about 5’9.” Her wardrobe consists mainly of baggy graphic shirts and jeans.
personality: Mari is very sarcastic and will make witty remarks in any situation possible. She can be serious when she wants to, but will mostly just act silly and open with everyone. She mainly shows affection through insults or teases.
likes: Music / Travel / Video games
dislikes: Rude people / People who don’t match her energy as well
other: Mari’s superpowers consist of mutations. For example, she can shape shift her arms into massive, grey, monster-like appendages from the elbow down. She’s never tried to fully transform into this demonic form, because in the past, those arms were all she’d needed. She’s more considered a vigilante than a hero, and many call her “Akuma,” meaning “The Demon.”
(okay, great! here is mineee)

(thank you! Mari sounds great too!)
( okay, you wanna start? do you want to go first or me to go first?
(You can go ahead, but if you want me to I will)
(ok, i'll go)
Jonah had been sitting on the floor for the past two hours trying to get this one chord right. He was about ready to give up. He flopped back on the armchair and let out a groan. He had trying to learn this song for the past week and was not getting any better. With no luck, Jonah started fiddling with the strings as he hummed along with the song. He could see the sun start to come up behind the clouds and gave in. He would try again tomorrow. He went to the bathroom to brush his teeth. he saw himself in the mirror and scrunched his face; did he really look like that? He put on some music and started to get ready. He brushed his teeth and attempted to fix his untamable hair. he eventually got it to cooperate a little and plopped on his hat. He grabbed his camera and raced out his front door.
Mari sipped peacefully at her coffee as she strolled down the stairs to the subway.
This had been the first day she was here on time. Normally, she was always rushing to work. However, today she’d been up since three, researching past news headlines and regulating the city.
She hummed to herself quietly, her light hair waving softly as a subway train skidded by. Mari pulled her coat closer around her body, her uncomfortable floral shirt clinging to her body. She mentally cursed it, wishing to be back in her pajamas, or at least a t-shirt.
Mari had finally gotten a new job, and she started today. She had to look professional— if that meant curling her hair into wavy strands or putting on a small shirt, Mari didn’t know. But at least she had tried.
This new job seemed promising. Working at the new music shop that had popped up around town. Mari had always been a fan of music, played a bit of piano herself, but couldn’t read music for her life. She’d always play by ear.
She tapped her foot impatiently as a subway train came to a stop before her, loading passengers, then departing. Her amber eyes wandered to the schedule.
Well, looks like she’d be standing here for another 20 minutes. Sometimes she wondered if it was better to be late.
The city was already buzzing with people which seemed unreasonable to Jonah. To Jonah's dismay, the shops were already full of people. This meant that it was harder to shoot. He decided to scrap his plan altogether and go somewhere entirely different.
Oh, how he dreaded the subway. It was stuffy, dirty, and gloomy. Full of people who are only concerned about themselves. Jonah tried to look on the bright side though, well you know the rather dimly lit lights. Because you know, they were underground. He hoped that he would see a person who would let him take a photo of them. He scanned the station looking for potential subjects. He saw a mural on the wall of records. He liked it. Jonah stopped and admired it for a bit. He even took a few photos. He turned his head and looked for someone interesting. He decided on a girl who had curled hair and a floral shirt. She looked promising.
"Hi, this is random, but would you mind being in a photo?" Jonah asked, gesturing to his camera.
Mari almost choked on her coffee at the question, but regained her composure rather quickly. She hastily fixed her coat and pulled down her shirt just slightly so it would show less of her stomach.
“Sure. What for?” she asked, eyeing the man’s camera with a tinge of wonder. She’d always admired photographers, if that was— in this case— his actual job.
Her eyes wandered up to his dark brown hair and colorful eyes. Gosh, he was pretty tall. At least, compared to her. She shifted uncomfortably, holding her coffee cup with both hands, loose in front of her as she rocked.
" Well, it's a project for the photography class that I'm taking at university. I think that your eyes would look good with the subway lights— sorry, that sounds creepy." Jonah shifted his camera uncomfortably in his hands. He stood in front of her and started messing with the camera settings. But, it was true- she had these eyes that would be complementary to the lights.
" Oh, by the way, my name's Jonah," he said as he knelt down in front of her. He liked it when the people he was taking photos of knew his name, it made it feel more personal. He squinted a little bit into the viewfinder and adjusted it a little so that it would focus on her. " Just do whatever you feel comfortable with," Jonah said to her as he took a few test photos. He had shot in the subway very few times so he played with the camera's lighting a bit, trying to perfect it. He looked up at her and gave her a slight smile.
“And here you go, making me feel all fancy,” she said with a laugh. “In that case, I’m Mari. It’s nice to meet you.”
The palms of her hands dampened but she had no clue whether that was the effect of the coffee cup or the quite awkward situation she found herself in.
Do whatever you feel comfortable with, she repeated his words in her head.
Well if I did that, I would be quickly walking the other way, Mari thought, looking off above the incoming train, the wind blowing her hair slightly. The only thing she knew remotely related to modeling was accidental pictures taken when she opened up her phone with the front-facing camera. She glanced back over for a moment, returning Jonah’s smile with a charming one of her own.
Jonah snapped a photo just as she smiled at him. He took a few more with the trains rushing by and her hair blowing. He thought that the photo-op had been quite successful. He got up from his kneeling position and examined some of the photos. Most of them turned out great. He thought his teacher would be happy with these. " So, where are you going looking all dressed up?" Jonah asked Mari as he went through all the photos.
He glanced up and noticed her looking over his shoulder at the photos. " Oh my gosh, you must think I'm so rude! Here, you wanna see?" Jonah asked shifting so that she could see them too. He could feel a small blush creep onto his face. He was mentally rolling his eyes at himself. Duh, she would probably want to see the photos that he took of her.
He continued skipping through the photos and occasionally glancing down at Mari. When he finally got to the end of all of the pictures he turned off his camera and put the camera strap back around his neck. He kind of wanted an excuse to keep talking to her.
“Those are rad,” she breathed. “I mean, not to be full of myself or anything, but I look awesome.”
Mari did a sarcastic giggle of sorts at her own remark.
“You said you were from the university around here, huh?” she asked. “In the photography class. Gosh, that’d be cool. But nope, I just had to major in biochemistry.”
She rolled her eyes at herself. “It’s a great subject but a job where you have the ability to be creative sounds better.”
She tucker her hair behind her ear, rocking on her heels. “And I’m going to a new job I got yesterday. You know the music shop down on North Avenue? Say hello to their newest member.”
Mari put on a production of a fake curtsey, exaggeratedly bowing.
