Daso waved enthusiastically at the kid, and then at everyone else. "I'm Daso."
Daso waved enthusiastically at the kid, and then at everyone else. "I'm Daso."
(Who else needs to introduce themselves, or do we got everyone?)
(I think everyone active replied?)
(It’s been 24 hours, so…)
Erik stood up straighter, offering a small smile, “Nice to meet you all, unfortunately under these not-so-great conditions.” He gestured at the unfamiliar walls. “So shall we start looking?”
Sage blinked up at the boy before nodding. She wanted to get out of this place. Her family was probably extremely worried that she didn't come home. The little girl put on a brave face, hoping there was an easy way out as their kidnappers had yet to show themselves.
Finn nodded and stood up. “Let’s find a way out.”
"Or we could sit around and wait," Daso suggested with a laugh. "I think we could take 'em –you know, whoever it is."
Sebastian stretched a bit, still feeling off, but preferring the idea of getting out of here to just sitting around, helpless.
"Did everyone else wake up in a room with no windows?" he asked, "I don't think I've seen a single window in this house so far."
“My room didn’t have windows,” Erik glanced down the hall. He was anxious to search around, to find a way out. There had to be a way out. The kidnappers had to get out somehow, unless they were still here…. “I’d rather we not, you know, split up.”
(is it too late to introduce my character? i made a form a while ago and didn't realize this was still alive. it's fine if not.)
(you still can!)
(cool, thanks!)
"I agree, splitting up is always ends with everyone dying," Magnolia offered. "At least, that's how it works in a lot of the movies I've seen. Oh, and I'm Maggie, by the way, or Magnolia, whatever floats your boat." She twirled a strand of hair around her finger, which was one of her nervous habits.
(Imma pretend Madi introduced herselfl
“So, uh, would we rather stay here and um, wait, or go looking?” Erik asked as he bit his lip, glancing at his inner elbow again. He wished he knew who he was fighting, rather than being dropped in a room and having to guess.
“If we stay here and wait, won’t whatever it is just come to us? If we go looking, then we could surprise it,” Maggie suggested.
“They would probably expect us to go looking but that doesn’t mean we shouldn’t. I vote we look for a way out,” Finn suggested.
"I'd love to explore," Daso agreed.
"Yeah, let's look around," Sebastian added, "We'll get out of here if it means I have to tear this house down with my own two hands."
Sage bit her lower lip lightly. So no one else had found any windows in their rooms either? It was strange to her how not a single ray of natural light was coming in from anywhere. "I really don't wanna stay here any longer. This place is creepy," the small girl said. Though it was selfish to think, it was a bit nice to have others in the building too.
“Alright,” Erik nodded as if to affirm it for himself. He looked down the hall, “I guess we’ll check it out then, if there’s, uh, no objections.” Erik ran a hand through his hair before forcing himself to start walking.
(lil bump)
Maggie followed, glancing around. This place was creepy. She really hoped there wasn’t some kind of monster, but felt like it was in vain. “Where are we going, exactly?” she asked nervously.
“I guess wherever this hall takes us. I would imagine there would be some, you know, clues as to why we’re here.” Erik fidgeted with his hands a little, eyes darkening slightly as he said, “We’re probably being ransomed. Or held hostage.”
“Do you think we’ll be rescued?” Maggie asked tremulously, an edge of hope coming into her voice. She hadn’t thought of that, but it now seemed obvious. Did they have any hope of being rescued?
