Gwen pushed on the pedal of the Green Lion, trying to steer it into the atmosphere above her. How the hell am I supposed to do this? She pulled back on the steering….device, causing it to go into a loop. "AHHHHH!" She screamed, pulling it back into a straight line. This is it. This is how I die… Gwen sighed, looking at the small blue map that popped up to her right. A large red dot flashed on the map like a beacon. The lion jerked forward, nearly sending her flying into the window. Alright….I guess we're going there….
Amber blinked, her vision swimming. The angry yellow lion thingy was tossing her in all sorts of directions. Her hair was a wild mess, and the room was spinning. She pulled on a lever, trying to make it stop, but ended up crashing into something. Looking out, she saw that she had rammed into a lion just like hers, just slightly smaller and blue. There's another one? she thought.
Ugh…they skipped over this part in the Paladin's interview… Gwen complained, leaning back and letting the lion do all the work. She took a blueberry muffin out of her backpack and bit into it, silently looking out into space. After she finished, she took out her phone and took a panorama. Better not put this on social media. You know, just in case.
Amber peered at the other lion. She honestly had no idea what was going on. She had heard stories before of Voltron, but that's all she ever believed they were. Stories. She bumped her yellow lion gently against the blue one, trying to get the pilot's attention.
Matthias stumbled around in jagged circles, encompassing this gigantic red lion robot thingy. A blue shield was protecting the lion from his drunken state for now. "OH COME ON PLEASE YA BIG KITTY KAT. YA CALLED ME HERE, WHAY WON'T YA LET ME IN HUH?!" He pushed against the blue shield but fell forward and face planted as the barrier retracted and the lion stood up and let out an earth-shaking roar. It stooped down and swallowed up the drunken idiot before taking off into the sky in some pre-set course.
Gwen checked the map again after a few minutes. How longer am I gonna drift through space? This is getting boring… She stood up and began to walk around the lion, figuring that she could do so safely while it was drifting smoothly. "Wonder what kind of mechanical system this thing has." Gwen thought out loud. "I mean, it's alien technology. It has to be pretty awesome." She bent down and opened a control panel on the right side of the lion, trying to figure out how it operated.
Amber sighed, leaning back and deciding to wait until the lion arrived at its destination. She could see a castle coming into view, and closed her eyes, letting out a breath.
Gwen groaned, lying down on the floor. "This is impossible. How the hell does this thing work?" She didn't have time to say anything else. The lion jerked forward, rolling Gwen to the front. She grabbed onto the chair and pulled herself into it. Well, that's gonna leave some bruises… The lion plummeted forward, heading straight for a giant white and blue castle that sat on the surface of an alien planet. She screamed as she grasped the edge of the seat, trying not to fall forward into the front window.
The red lion didn't care much for it's screaming passenger so it continued on its course going as fast as possible to get to its destination. It landed and Matthias managed to finally get off the floor of the cockpit, using the seat as a sort of crutch to get his balance as he fought the urge to throw up.
Amber's lion suddenly charged toward the castle, and she let out a small cry of protest and she was send soaring through space. The lion landed on some sort of platform at the castle, and it seemed to power down.
Gwen sat in the pilot's seat, breathing heavily after the lion landed on a platform outside the castle. She leaned back, groaning. "Next time lion, give me a warning or something when you plummet to the ground."
He tumbled out of the lion's mouth, breathing heavily.
Gwen walked out of the lion dizzily, rubbing her head. "What the hell?" She looked around, squinting in the sunlight.
Bobo still couldn't believe the size of the lion thing. How did I end up in this thing? Where is this lion going anyway? The lion was flying in all sorts of directions. Flying? How is this thing even flying? Netherless, the lion persisted with the chaotic flying throughout space.
She looked around, running a hand through her hair. Some majestic ass looking door starting opening slowly before her, and she very much did not want to enter.
Gwen looked over at the girl next to her. She waved awkwardly, pointing to the door. "This new for you too?"
Bobo looked out of the giant window of the lion to see a castle fast approaching. Wow, was the only thought that could come to Bobo's mind. Bobo, who had long past gotten used to the messy flying, sat back down with no more concerns.
She nodded. "Yeah."
Gwen shrugged. "Cool." She crossed her arms and looked at the door. "Should we…go in?"
Amber stepped back a bit, looking at the door. "I mean… I guess? My day really couldn't get any stranger, and I don't really have anything to lose."
