(so… the games are at different times. imagine prisoners in those ww2 japanese camps with power-preventing collars forced to play vr fortnite - you can play whenever you want, but you only get supplies and shit if you get a good place)

(I think that's part of the plot. Lemur, Demi, HedleyHorses, and you have powers and Arty will switch sides eventually. Right know, it's too early too escape.)
