Isaiah shrugged and leaned against the door frame. "Yeah, I guess. Where'd you be running off to?"
Isaiah shrugged and leaned against the door frame. "Yeah, I guess. Where'd you be running off to?"
Mirage shrugged. "Nowhere really, I guess." She pulled up a chair. "Want do you want to talk about?"
"What brought you here? You good friends with Sam or what," Isaiah sunk down to the floor and brought his legs up towards his chest.
"Yeah, I am now. I uh… I had cancer. My mom died when I was born and my dad wasn't very happy about that. One day, my dad says he's not paying for my treatment anymore and," She took a shaky breath as she started to ramble, "He left me, for dead. Took off with some guy and I never saw him again. I was really scared. My hair was falling out, I had no clue what was happening, I was losing strength. Then one day, I wake up and find my hair grew back, I'm cured, and I had powers. A few weeks later, Sammy found me." She swiped a hand across her eyes. "Sorry, I shouldn't have put all that on you."
"Yup. He is. Or was." She shifted in her chair.
"Sam said that no one's gonna die… While hinting at my mom… Well, I did something really stupid where I should've been paralyzed… so that means that my mom's now bed-ridden," Isaiah didn't stop the tear from rolling down his cheek.
(GTG)
(K. See ya.)
(I'm back.)
(Huzzah!)
Mirage nodded. "That sucks. Do you need a hug?"
"I'll take one."
Mirage got up and walked through the door. She pulled him into a quick hug.
"Thanks," Isaiah said pulling away.
"No problem." She said. "Do you need anything to eat or drink?"
"Um… No, not now. Thanks for offering." Isaiah looked back into his, 'new home.' There was a small cot, no pillows or blankets. "Could I have some bed sheets or blankets?"
"Sure thing." She turned and walked through the wall. A few minutes later, she came back with a couple of pillows and a blanket. "The blanket's fleece. Does that bother you at all?"
Isaiah raised an eyebrow, "how'd you- what- nevermind. No, I don't mind the fleece," he took the bundle of stuff. "Thanks once again."
She nodded. "No problem. I should probably leave you to rest though."
"True. G'noight," Isaiah said, practicing his Aussie accent.
"You too mate." she said with a terrible excuse for an accent.
(And now we wait I suppose)
(Yeppers.)
(I'm conflicted on who I'm supposed to ship now)
(XD)

(In one of my previous rp's my character was forced into both a gay and a straight ship… I couldn't choose one for about two days… )
