Appearance: Penumbra has brown skin, short red hair that reaches her shoulders, and big light gray eyes. She has thin, dark eyebrows, and pointy ears, as well as freckles scattered all over her face. Due to her fae heritage, she does have wings (they're pale purple and are medium size), but she usually hides them as to not cause panic. She has some scars scattered around her arms and one scar on her face, near her nose. She has a slender build and doesn't really have muscles, even though she does train. She's 5 feet and 6 inches tall.

Personality: She's very energetic, and tends to do things that can either put her life in danger or just place her in a jail cell for a day or two. She's pretty goofy and mischievous and enjoys messing around with people. She tries to give people second chances, even though they might not deserve it. It's a bit of a flaw of hers. She's a bit demanding, a trait she gained due to her years of being a princess and being somewhat spoiled by her parents. She's generally a sweet gal and really doesn't have a single evil bone in her body.

Backstory: Penumbra is an exiled princess, who now travels around the world looking for an adventure. Her parents found out that her best friend Chiara was really a werewolf. Her parents captured Chiara, placed her in the castle dungeon, and scheduled a day to kill her. Penumbra with the help of a guard managed to sneak Chiara out of the castle and into the forest. Of course, when the Queen and King found out, they were livid. They executed the guard that helped Penumbra and exiled their daughter. They originally had planned to execute her as well, but were later convinced by her sister Della to strip away her royal privileges and make her live like a commoner.

Anything else: She has a super cool sword that she's never without.

Personality: chrys is a gentleman and also requires respect. He gives what he has been given, so if you show respect and kindness, he will repay you tenfold. He is an incredibly smooth talker and almost never needs to pause to think of what to say next. (You’ll learn more about him soon. Hehehe)
Looks: Chrys is a tall man, coming at 6ft7. He is fairly muscular as well, proving he still cares about taking care of his body.

Night had fallen, and Penny walked down the streets of a quaint little village, heading toward the forest that surrounded the village. As an adventurer, Penumbra had heard rumors of all sorts. Cannibalistic queens, werewolves being able to multiply by the hour, the ghosts of dead children coming back to overthrow the monarchy, et cetera. Though, when she heard the rumor of a vampire terrorizing a nearby village, she immediately knew she had to find out if it was true. And what better way to find a vampire than going toward the last place the villagers saw them? And if she tried to steal something from a guy that looked extremely wealthy on her way to the forest, and then getting stopped for doing the aforementioned crime, well that was just a minor inconvenience, right? And of course, Penumbra was going to blatantly deny stealing from this rich dude in the first place, despite the item she had taken was currently in her hand, and in plain sight as well.

(so yeah uh decided to have penny steal something from Chryses lmao)

Chrys stalked the woman who had stolen from him for a while, following her every move as she wandered away from his mansion. He grins softly, listening to her heart rate. Calm for the most part.

Suddenly, she was stopped right in her tracks. The person who stopped her grabs her wrist and takes back the item. “That wasn’t at all polite.” He murmurs. “Why steal something from me? Do you know how rude that is?” He hums, pocketing the item and squeezing her wrist. “Hmm…very…sweet smelling blood you have…” He looks her dead in the eyes. “Adventurer? Yes? Typical.” Just in a flash, they were inside his mansion. He pins Penny to the wall. “Now…you’re going to state your intentions.”

Penumbra just stared at him, crushing down the fear that was starting to rise. She was not going to be weak at a moment like this. This wasn't how Penny had expected the rest of her day to go, and she definitely hadn't expected to be pinned against a wall. Oh, why had she decided to steal from him in the first place? As a former rich person, she knew how mad they got if they manage to capture the thief. But even so, no person had the ability to just transport someone to a different location in just a flash and oh, she might have just found her vampire. Well, at least something was going her way. Except she hadn't thought that she'd met the rumored vampire before being killed. Well, possibly being killed, but still. "Yeah, right, my intentions," she said with a nervous laugh. "I was going around my merry way, then I heard something that piqued my interest, and now I'm here. Also, for the record, I didn't intend to steal from you…." And now she was lying. Great.

He raises an eyebrow, “Lying are we? I don’t tolerate lies.” He squeezes her wrist tighter, his eyes now glowing a bight red.

“Now…either you speak the truth…or I’ll make you useful to me…which do you prefer, my dear?” His tone stayed calm and cool, and his eyes almost seemed hypnotic. He stared into her eyes. Somehow, even in the heat of the moment, there was a sense of calm radiating around the room.

Penumbra's hands shook, and her fear was definitely rising. And then, she winced as the stranger squeezed her wrist even tighter. If he kept that up, her blood would stop circulating, or something even worse could happen. "I'm not lying, I'm not lying! I did hear something that piqued my interest, that part is true!" she exclaimed, as she tried to jerk her arm away, but to no avail. A sense of calm was radiating the room, but instead of calming her down, it set off a million different bells in her brain, and her struggle to get herself away from him started once again. Perhaps, if she told the truth, the vampire, or whatever he was, would leave her alone? It was worth a try. "Okay, okay, I did mean to steal from you, but the rest of what I said was true!"

Chrys raises an eyebrow. “Is that so?” He hums, listening to the girls heart. He smirks softly, “You think I’m just going to let you go…is that it?” He purrs softly, his voice sweet poison. “You are quite mistaken. You wanted to lead hunters here, didn’t you? You wanted to prove my existence. Or maybe brag of how brave and courageous you are.”

Chrys grins slightly, flashing his fangs. It was now clear…

Penumbra was not escaping this man anytime soon.
