So I have a couple of questions (sorry) how come you can only be an amber arrow if a family member has gone to Valencia? And how does one actually get to Valencia
Perhaps you should just do all of the pre-work and once we're all in Valencia we can start XD because, though it is an amazing idea, and I really thought this was a book, I'm just a wee bit confused XD It could just be because Im blonde XD//
Valencia Ceremonial Hall, Trayvastien, Valencia.
20:00,
Kaisa stood at attention, her crimson and white uniform ironed perfectly, blond hair braided flawlessly, and her palms sweating from nervousness. She feigned confidence as the official read her accomplishments and achievements from probation, and why she deserved to be Badged. She let her mind wander as he seemed to drone on a bit. She looked at the assembly gathered. Just the others being promoted off probation and their supervisors. Her supervisor stood at her side, a tall, stern man named Ian Quill. He glanced at her through the corner of his eyes and gave her a small smile. A proud smile. Kaisa felt her face flush with pleasure, but she couldn't stop the guilt that squirmed in her stomach. She wondered if she should even feel pride with the knowledge she had and if what she suspected turned out to be true. But still, it was hard not to feel proud when the strictest supervisor was proud of her. ion snapped back as he turned to the pledges to which she must agree.
"Agent Tayvar, do you swear to uphold your duty with honor, integrity, and unwavering loyalty towards the country even at the cost of your life?"
Kaisa took a deep breath, wincing inwardly at the part about loyalty. Ignoring her qualms, she held her head high. "I do swear to these as described."
The rest of the ceremony passed quickly, and soon she found herself, Badged, official, and laying in bed in her small apartment, wondering how she would be able to break the vows she had made her very first morning of being on duty. But she needed answers, and people who go into Valencia can't disappear, not without leaving a trail. They couldn't stay without citizenship, and they couldn't leave without going through protocols. But some of them had disappeared. Her superiors tried to cover the trail, but that only made her more suspicious. She felt guilty, but lives could be at stake, and after all, she had sworn to do her duty, and her first and foremost duty was to the people of Valencia. Including the missing ones. Kaisa knew that what she was going to do was the right thing to do, but that didn't stop the anxiety she felt when she thought about what she might find.
(Amber arrows are people who are Spies from Scartech.
These people are chosen only if they have a family member of friend that was chosen to go to Valencia that year. You go into Valencia based on Mark's, or your job. In the beginning they only took smart people but after they all 'failed' Valencia started taking pride of different smartness levels.
People are chosen and given information via letter that tells them that they were chosen for a 1 year trial in Valencia. ScarTechs then contact a close family member of friend to go in with them and spy on Valencia for the ScarTechs because only typing adults are allowed inside Valencia)
(Joy your thing was great! I just have a request, do you mind asking me before making a big change or something?(for future reference lol) just in case what ever Kaisa does, matches up with what I have planned?)
Okay that makes a lot more sense. Do you mind leading my character along as he first arrives in Valencia? I don't want to mess anything up.
Mateo is the arrow and his brother Rico is the chosen//
(Thanks! I’m going to be a Vetran if that’s okay.)
(Ok to both of you guys lol)
Lol thanks//
(Your welcome!)

(Sorry! I didn't think that that was big. Do you want me to PM you? All I was going to have her do is poke around and see some weird stuff, and then be caught and threatened to only do her job until you guys got into Valencia.)
(Sorry, I really wasn't trying to alter the plot or anything, I swear!)
(Sorry, I really wasn't trying to alter the plot or anything, I swear!)
(No no!! I mean if you decide to add something, just run it by me first lol)
(Oh okay cool! Sorry for overreacting. I get like that sometimes…. : D)

Tenley went to her brothers room only to hear nothing. "Liam? Are you there?" She asked. Usually he would be listening to music but today it was quiet. She opened the door and found him on the floor with his head on his knees, an open envelope beside him. She sat by him and nudged him "what's up smokey?" She asked. He gave her a folded paper that was stamped with a very fancy letter 'V' with a lion on either side, enclosed in a vine with Rose's on it. She gasped in recognition, it was the Valencian coat of arms. Her hands shaking, she unfolded the letter and read it
'Dear Mr. Liam ,
You have been cordially invited to come into Valencia to live, work, and or study for one year after which you will be given the choice to stay or leave. In a few days time, you will receive another package with an ID card, a few simple clothes, a bag, and a few instructions, explaining any further actions you may need to take. We welcome you to Valencia with open hands and hope you enjoy your visit.
Yours in writing,
Declyn Artur Edwards'
The letter ended with the following words "Valencia, the future is in your hands."
(She looks awesome!!)
(Thanks!)
Zanna had received a letter earlier that day from the man that visited her junkyard. First other human in like a month. She wasn't quite sure how long a few days to them was. Was it 5 days? 3 days? The number of days were limitless, and frankly Zanna didn't like to wait. She had already made a list of inventions she would need to take with, along with blueprints and tools. No one had her tools, and she wouldn't use anyone else's tools cause that's how Zanna rolled.
((Where/When do you want us all to meet?))
(Well, right now we should be getting letters then after sometime, probably I'll time skip, well meet at the docks where a Valencian official will meet us.)
(That’s me lol)
Valencian Security Center, Capital City, Valencia,
08:00,
Kaisa walked confidently through the halls of the 9th floor on her way to her new office. She was acutely aware that she was the youngest person on the top three floors, and would be exposed to discrimination, but held her head high anyways. SHe reached the Border Security wing and opened the doors into the lobby. The receptionist looked up.
"Are you Agent Tayvar?" Kaisa nodded. The receptionist smiled at her. "I'm Diane, do you have your ID?" Kaisa walked forward and scanned her ID card on holopad. "Excellent! Last door on the left. You have Skyview office."
Kaisa thanked her and walked through the door on her left. There were doors up and down both sides of the hallway, with the majority of them made of glass, creating an open feel to the area. At last, she reached the right office and scanned her ID once more. The door whirred softly and dematerialized, allowing her to step in, and then rematerialized behind her.
The office was large and she immediately knew it was one of the nicer offices. It was furnished in a minimalized style, and her desk overlooked the vast Capital City. Kaisa shook her head to clear it and sat down, setting down her case, ready to work. She touched a button on the side of the metal desk and the desktop whirred to life, illuminating with a soft blue light. It spoke in a computerized voice. "Welcome Agent Tayvar. Are you ready to begin?" she cleared her throat. "Yes, I am. Access the data files from the past four weeks from sector seven." "Accessing… Ready for viewing." "Thank you, dismissed."
As soon as the electronic assistant deactivated, Kaisa pulled up the holographic files into midair. She quickly scrolled through data entries until she reached a name. Jonah Simon. Invited into Valencia three weeks previously. She had met him, he was her final exam, how she would handle a situation on her own. He had since disappeared from all databases. He wasn't living anywhere, working anywhere, or in prison anywhere. He had no records at all.
She frowned and searched the name through the Securities own country-wide database. She scrolled through the results, pushing away her guilt. After all, she as just following through with her assignment. That was her job. She wasn't doing anything wrong.
There. There was a hit on the name. A facility in Gresting. Something called, The Reassignment Institute. Kaisa sighed with relief. She had found him. She checked another name, Jemma Elick and cross-referenced it with the Institute, and found that that was where she was staying too. She went through her list of missing people. All in Gresting. She felt as though a huge weight had been lifted off of her chest. Nothing was wrong. She would ask Agent Wittering what the Institue was, just to wrap up the matter. In the meantime, she had other work. She minimized the files and pulled up her upcoming assignments. A group of Outsiders was coming into Valencia in just over a week. Perfect. That was the perfect assignment to get her feet wet as a newly Badged Agent. Now all she had to do was to report to Wittering to get the authorization and begin arranging their entry.
(Hey Joy, I might Pm you later to discuss my plans so that I can hear you ideas and give mine own)
Tenley walked out of Liams room and punched a wall, yelling in anguish. She held her head and slid down the wall, tears steadily streaming down her face. A floorboard some 4-5 meters away from her creaked slowly, alerting her that someone was walking towards her with a steady gait, but she was trying to figure out a way to remove her baby brother from the programme. A warm, loving embrace brought forth another flood of tears as she realized that she wasnt alone in her grief, that her parents were also worried for his safety.
Tenley and her stepmother stayed outside Liams room for a few minutes before she stood up and told Olivia, her stepmom, that she was going to her room. She wiped her eyes, took out her laptop, and started working on her project, a special program that wod let her talk to Liam, no matter where he was.
Hours passed and Tenley eas still at her computer, fixing bugs, adding new updates etc. She got up and stretched, before deciding to go down to grab a bite. On her way down, she saw another letter in the letter holder. Grabbing it, she practically flew down the stairs and looked at it to see that it was addressed to her. It seemed like a very basic letter with no company name and no logo. The only unusual case was that there was a message written in small front under her name that read 'Please open in private'. Intrigued by the mysterious envelope, she grabbed her bagel bites and glided up the stairs to her room and locked the door.
(Okay cool. Btw I don’t know if the missing people are actually thereofnot, that depends on you, what Kaisa found could be just a cover)
(Sure)
