(Hi)

Enzo decided not to wake Lixi. She needed her sleep. He decided to head into the kitchen. He wanted to wash his hands, arms, everything after carrying a dead body away. The thought made his stomach churn. "Is…is anyone hungry?"

Liam raised his head slightly. "…No," he mumbled.

@WriteOutofTime

"Yeah, me neither," he said under his breath, stepping into the kitchen. He leaned over the sink and turned on the water, scrubbing at his hands until they were red. After a while of scrubbing, he headed back into the lounge. "I don't know what time it is," he realized suddenly. "Has anyone seen a clock or something?"

Deleted user

"I never checked," he stated, still staring at the wall blankly. "There could be, who knows."

Paige took the letter out of her pocket and unfolded it. Her last link to Odette. She began to read it.
(Nat?)

"I've heard of torture techniques," Enzo said slowly, "where they don't let you see a clock or a window or anything so you don't know the passage of time. It's just a small thing that throws you out of whack completely."

"I wouldn't be surprised if they did. But then again, it doesn't make sense. I mean, they said we have two days… how would we do it without knowing how long that is?"

@Natasha

Veda's Letter(Or the beginning of it, anyway.)
(She added this recently, like while everyone was voting.)
Okay, where to start? I guess I should start with why I never told you my real name. My real name is Odette, as you might already know. On the island we were given new names, names that revealed our real selves. Veda means ‘understanding’. To me, Veda IS my real name.
I didn’t tell you about Sophia because I knew that your decision would only be harder. And I didn’t say anything about Paige because I was too scared. I was scared that Paige would not forgive me for leaving her alone. And I wasn’t prepared to tell you all about my past, after only meeting you recently. I hope that you will find it in your hearts to forgive me.

@WriteOutofTime

"The screen," he replied. "Chances are they'll tell us when two days have gone by, and we'll just have to believe them because we have no way to track the passage of time."

His eyes narrowed. "And if they make it purposely shorter than two days? We'll just never know," Liam let out a short, bitter laugh.

Deleted user

He sighed, beginning to get up from his area on the ground. "Most likely, we'll die never knowing where we are."

@WriteOutofTime

"It's possible," Enzo agreed. "I wonder if our disappearances have even been reported yet." He imagined his face on the news, with his nephew watching in horror.

Deleted user

"…Perhaps." He was then reminded of who was counting on him. If they noticed his disappearance… if he couldn't get back to them in time… Liam withered just thinking about it. He'd never forgive himself if that happened.

(Well I can't really do anything until we timeskip so Lixi can wake up.)
