"I work."
"I work."
"Where?"
"I don't really feel comfortable sharing that."
"Fair point," Chip says, only realising how creepy he's been sounding now. "I'll get out of your hair now," He quickly finishing his drink.
"Hm? Okay. I should probably go too, actually," he said quietly, grabbing the water bottles he bought earlier.
Chip nods, "Nice meeting you," he quickly leaves the cafe.
He walked out, fixing his hair after he had messed it up before.
"Shit- I should've got his number, he was kind of cute.." he said quietly to himself, sighing.
Chip walks the 10 minutes to his house, he lets himself in and puts away his groceries.
He walked into his apartment, humming an energetic song.
Chip walks into his room before flopping on to his. "Ugh," He groans. He totally messed that up, he looked like a total creep.
He popped the waters into the fridge, looking around the small one room apartment.
He has a cold shower to cool himself off before heading into the kitchen to get a snack.
Corey walked back out into the heat, presumably back to the beach.
Chip eats and debates going back outside to get what he needed. In the end, he decides to. He texts his roommate, Alfie, to see if he wants anything and on request, he must now acquire pop tarts.
He sat right in front of the water, debating whether or not to actually go in.
Chip walks back into the town, looking at the beach as he does. He notices Corey but considering he probably thinks he's a weirdo he doesn't interact.
He finally dove into the water, his legs becoming a fish tail almost as soon as he hit the ocean.
Chip watches as Corey takes off into the water, only now realising that he's a siren.
He laughed, joking around with other Sirens as they swam.
Chip watches for a moment before moving on, he goes into the shopping area.
Corey and the others leaned on the shore, singing their "enchanting" song that might have been written by Panic! At the Disco.
Chip buys pop tarts, then some toiletries, notebooks and dog food. He window shops around a few shops.
It was a group of maybe five sirens, all of them singing with strong voices.
Chip begins to walk back home, past the beach. He hears the song and stops on the spot. He turns and looks toward the source to see a few sirens there.
