Ashton followed after Kennedy, "I don't want to go first! I don't want anything to do with this stupid club!" He hissed back to her as they sat back down.

"If we're done first, we can leave first." Mr. Covington brought out papers and put them in front of them.
"Fill in any five bubbles." Mr. Covington told them, placing the wands in front of them. "Also, choose one wand."
There were 14 wands with each different handles. Kennedy chose the 11th one and looked to Ash to choose his.

Cerulean looked at the wands “even if this doesn’t make sense, I want either the 5th or the 13th.” He whispered to Lyra

Ashton groaned and chose the 6th wand. Turning to Kennedy to see what bubbles she was filling in on the paper. "Can I borrow a pencil?" He asked, realizing that he'd left everything in his locker.

"Yea," She pulled one out of her pocket and handed it to Ashton. She filled out completely random bubbles and shoved the paper to Mr. Covington.

Cerulean watched the pair. He saw that their relationship was very similar to him and Lyra

Ashton peaked at her paper and filled out some of the same bubbles that his sister did, not wanting it to look like he'd completely copied her answers.

Lyra looked at the numbers, not really understanding what to do. Eventually, she just picked 5 random bubbles and filled them in. She hovered a hand over the wands, pulling out the eighth one with a shrug. "Well, I'm going all random. Pick whatever 'pulls my energy' and stuff."

Cerulean followed his sister and did the same, choosing the 13th

Cerulean looked at the teacher “now what?”

Mr. Covington took the papers without a word and looked very amused at the results. ""Wow, this is very rare. I haven't seen anything like it." He said adjusting his glasses. "Well now let me explain. You children possess powers that others do not have and probably have never heard of. Each set of twins possess the same element but can manipulate it in different ways."

Cerulean scoffed “yeah right, and I’m a monkeys uncle.” He picked up the wand he chose and started walking to his desk

"Well, the Quinn twins(extras in the story) have the Cold element which means ice, blizzards, snow, and sometimes mountains." Mr. Covington said while putting the papers in manila folders. "Maggie and Mandy have the fairy element."
Kennedy snorted at the last part. They were in high school and now some of them had kid powers with love and rainbows and all of that.
"The Lane twins have moon powers or dark powers and the Rektras' have sun powers. You may not believe me but hold your wand and close your eyes. You'll feel something." Mr. Covington looked towards the students and put his hand together, waiting for them to find out.
"This man is going crazy." Kennedy did what he said and closed her eyes.
