Ashton grumbled and sat in the passengers seat with a scowl on his face. "First you take my hoodie and now you take my turn to drive." He muttered to himself, pouting a little bit. "Fine, we can check out the club, but only if I drive home."
Kennedy put her seat belt on and backed out of the driveway. "Well, I did just say that." She drove smoothly and effortlessly through the traffic on the way to school. When she got to the parking lot she handed Ash the keys. "It's in room 402. Bye." She said, exiting the car and getting to class.
Ashton didn't really want to go to class just yet so he watched his sister walk away before slowly walking to his locker. He wandered around the school, looking for his friends as the bell rang.
Once Lyra and Cerulean get to school, we can time skip to the club.//
(Night!!)
“Haha. So funny” he said monotone as picked up the keys from the counter. “Bye mom!” He yelled and got in the car. He put His bag in the back seat and got in. He started the car and waved to his mother who looking out of the upstairs window
(Sorry, fever and homework have been tag teaming my ass. Fever just broke so hopefully I'll be on more)
Lyra waved goodbye to her mother from the passenger seat, flipping the radio onto her favorite station. She rolled down the window and stuck her head outside, letting her freshly brushed hair wave in the wind. She loved car rides.
(I feel)
Cerulean groaned “I despise your music.” He said whilst driving out of their neighbourhood. A few arguments, debates on music, and a poke war later, they arrived at school
Lyra jumped out of the car, rubbing her side to ease the sting of the poke that had won her brother the war. "So, you excited for that biology quiz?" Lyra wasn't, she forgot to study. She just hoped her brother had filled out his study guide so she could steal it and use it to not fail.
“Yes but I memorized the study sheet so I left it at home.” He smirked at her. “You need to study! I’ll help you for the time in our free class but then you need to do it yourself!” He sighed, putting and arm around her shoulders
(Time skip after @othyrword responds?)
(Sorry I've been off!)
Lyra sighed. "Yeah. I guess." She pouted all the way inside, doing her best to remember what the test was over. Something about microorganisms and cell membranes. It was all fuzzy. She was pretty sure she had napped all the way through that class, which was probably why she was going to bomb.
(Time skip to the end of school now?)
(yup)
Kennedy walked out of French, trying to catch up with Ash. She pulled the strings on the hoodie so that they were even before she looked up to speak. "Apparently, the club has things to do with destinies and things like that so I think it'll be pretty cool."
Lyra all but sprinted from her Pre-cal class, a look of deranged joy on her face. Her teacher had forgotten to give out the homework which meant she had total afterschool freedom! She waited in the hallway between the clubroom and her math class, where she and Rulean had agreed to meet.
Ashton was the first person out of his AP Chemistry class and waited for his twin to catch up to him. "That's great. Why do I have to go?" He asked and rolled his eyes, continuing his walk to his locker to put his backpack away. He hadn't gotten any homework today so he didn't need to take it home.
"You're like my moral support and maybe you'll end up enjoying it." She said, leaning on the locker beside him, waiting for him to put his stuff away. She felt her phone vibrate with an alarm for when the club started. "We gotta go now." She slid her phone back into her back pocket and got off of the locker.
"Fine." Ashton groaned and slammed his locker shut, following after Kennedy to the club. He didn't think he'd enjoy it and he just wanted to go home, but he'd never just leave his sister here at school. Though he didn't want to go, he knew he should as she supported him at what he liked to do so it was only fair of him to support her want to be a part of this new club.
(I think now would be a good time to say that they've always had the powers but never knew that they were there. Also, coincidentally, the rest of the people in the club are also twins and didn't know others would be trying out.)
Kennedy opened the door and saw three groups of two already there. Clueless, she sat in one of the chairs at an empty desk and placed her backpack on the floor near her. She patted the seat next to her for Ash to sit in. "Stop being so grumpy."
"Stop being so peppy." Ashton fired back and sat down with a huff. "I just want to go home. When will this meeting be over?" He asked, trying not to sound as grumpy and tired as he felt.
"Around 6." She answered, ignoring his previous comment. She waited as the thing started by looking around the room, seeing the founders of the club move things from place to place.
"Why is it so looooong?!" Ashton whined, slumping in his chair and crossing his arms. He looked around at the other groups of people and noticing that everyone else looked excited to be here and he groaned at the sight of everyone looking so happy.
"It's only two hours." She deadpanned, watching as they set up the front of the room. When she finally looked at the other people, she saw that there were two sets of identical twins and one fraternal of girls. "Hey, Ash, there are other twins here!" She said in a stage whisper.
"Okay? Is that what this is? A club for twins? I thought this was some kind of 'find your destiny' type-thing." Ashton asked, interested now in the fact that they weren't the only twins in the room.
Kennedy looked back to her brother, still confused. "I just found out about this right now. What is this club really about?" She asked herself, seeing that the founders wen't behind closed curtains.
