"Oh boy, let's hope this leads somewhere decent this time. Preferably home," Abbadon said, following close behind Llano and straining to see in the dim light.

(I have to go to bed, but I'll catch up tomorrow.)
(aw okay gn)
“Home would be fantastic,” Llano said before opening the door. He blinked a few times as they found themselves in what looked like a hotel lobby. The only weird thing was that it was totally empty and dark except for neon pinks and blues illuminating the room
Abaddon blinked, looking around the place. There was nobody at the front desk, and it was completely silent and still. Not even the clock on the wall ticked. "Maybe there are people occupying the rooms?"
"Wow." Evanna sighed. "This can't get any weirder, can it?"
“I don’t think so,” Llano said, his glow fading away. He walked over to the lobby counter, rummaging through the shelves before pulling out a handful of ornate keys. “Pick one. Two to a room, there’s safety in numbers.”
Abaddon picked a key at random. "Can I room with you? I don't want to be responsible for protecting a defenseless human."
“Sure. I don’t want to get stuck with some human either,” Llano said, shooting some of the others a look before setting the other keys on the counter
Evanna sneered at Llano and Abaddon. "You better watch your back, or 'some human' just might get the best of you!" She graced them with an rude gesture and picked a key. "Who's rooming with me?" She asked in an overly cheery voice.
Llano growled quietly at the comment before taking the key from Abbadon. He glanced down at the labeling. “Floor 24, room 1056,” he read aloud before walking towards the elevator
Abaddon rolled his eyes before bounding toward the elevator. "God, I hope there's food."
“Looks like a nice place so there’s probably food in the rooms,” Llano said before walking into the elevator. He waited for Abbadon to walk inside before pressing the button for their floor
(I've gotta bounce, I'll catch up tomorrow)
(alright, see ya)
Abaddon fiddled with his jacket sleeves, trying to ignore the awkward silence. He pulled a glove off and absently examined his metal hand until the elevator arrived at their floor.
Llano walked out first, now hungry since Abbadon had mentioned food. “So…What’d you get the metal arm from?” he asked, trying to break the silence
"Chopped off by Satan," he answered quickly, pulling his sleeve up to show him the rest of his arm. It was very advanced, the joints able to move smoothly on their own. It functioned as well as a regular arm could.
“Fun. Not sure I want to meet your version of Satan then,” Llano said with a small laugh. He reached their room and unlocked it, eyes wide as he opened the door. It was lavishly furnished, with a large window overlooking the surrounding city and two comfortable looking beds
Abaddon let himself smile, yeeting himself directly at the nearest bed. It creaked loudly beneath him and he frowned. "These beds are loud… That's gotta be inconvenient for some people."
“Good thing we aren’t some people,” Llano chuckled, tossing himself onto the free bed. He yawned, stretching out on it before eyeing the fridge. He glanced over at Abbadon before rushing over to it
Abaddon blinked in surprise, not knowing how to respond to that for once. He didn't have time to anyway, as Llano was already running toward the fridge. Abaddon, however, had his eye on the fancy shelf with the enormous bottles of vodka on it.
Llano immediately started raiding the fridge, pulling out an entire cake and a few sandwiches. He tossed one in Abbadon’s direction before beginning to eat the entire cake
Abaddon caught the sandwich and started to reach up to grab the bottle before seeing that Llano was eating the whole motherfucking cake. "Hey! Save some for me!"
“Fight me, purple rain,” Llano replied around a mouthful of cake, snickering at the reference to the human singer. He looked up, eyes wide as he spotted the alcohol. “Ooh, gimme.”
"Not unless you give me cake first," he said, snatching the bottle and holding it up where Llano couldn't reach. He usually hated being so damn tall, but things like this made it sort of worth it.
