"What's the point of having a fish form then?" He asked, confused.
"What's the point of having a fish form then?" He asked, confused.
“Lava! I swim in lava!” Llano exclaimed as if it was obvious, waving his arms theatrically before crossing his arms with a huff
"How the hell?" Abaddon thought aloud. He leaned against the door, trying to think about how somebody could make swimming in lava actually work.
“Lava demon! I live in a volcano!” Llano exclaimed before flooping back on the sand. “You people are complete imbeciles,” he muttered
"You're an imbecile," he argued, looking away from Llano.
“At least I have all my limbs,” Llano shot back, glaring at Abbadon before sitting up. He glanced down at his hands, one of which had begun to crack ever so slightly from the cold sand
"Yes, we get you hate humans. So, how about you stop complaining and actually help somehow." By this point Riley was just annoyed. The only one actually doing something and thinking straight was Chris.
“I don’t hate humans, I just hate you lot,” Llano said with a roll of his eyes. “Granted my kingdom is mostly ghosts, but that’s more or less the same.”
"I don't hate humans. They're annoying and I don't understand them, but I don't hate them," Abaddon argued. "And I would definitely like to help you, but honestly, there's nothing I can think of that can get us out of this mess at the moment."
Llano got to his feet, melting his hand back together with a frown. “Well, maybe there’s more doors?” As he said this he glanced out across the sand, squinting as he saw a patch where the white sand seemed to blacken
Sparrow turned away from the group into the trees and dig around in the y’all grass “guys I found stairs going down!” She yelled
Llano ignored the other in favor of wandering over to the blackening sand. “Is this…volcanic?” he muttered to himself. He frowned at what appeared to be something wooden peeking out of the sand. He shifted forms, leaning down to grab the wood in his maw and drag it easily from the sand. He dropped it and shifted forms, confused to find he had pulled a door from the sand
Abaddon frowned, seeing Llano pawing at a piece of wood. He walked over, curious. "What'd you find, fish boy?"
"I say we go," Everyone, was looking at different things that laid in the sand and it was weird how many unusual thing came up. Riley bent down to take a better look at the stairs. They looked old and were covered in moss, now she wasn't sure if she wanted to go.
“Well it’s not everyday you find stairs in the sand.” She replied
“A door, obviously,” Llano replied, rising to his feet and brushing stray bits of sand off himself. Out of curiosity he opened the near black door and was surprised to find that it actually lead to what looked like a ladder of sorts
"Odd," he commented, leaning over and looking down. "And very creepy. So I'm not going in first."
“You are a sorry excuse of a demon,” Llano said, frowning at Abbadon before turning and beginning to descend the rope ladder
"Rude," he said, crossing his arms and resisting the urge to stick his tongue out at him like a child.
“Petty,” Llano shot back. He reached the end of the ladder, his eyes and red markings glowing warmly in the dark. “Now are you going to come down too or does the big baby need a nightlight?”
"I'll go next," grabbing the rope she shimmied down and landed on what felt like concert. It was a bit cold down here and she was wearing close to nothing. The only light she could see was that of the open door above.
"I got it," he grumbled, making his way down the ladder. He brushed his jacket off when he got to the bottom. He looked around, seeing only a small amount of light from above and the faint glow of Llano's markings. His eyes lingered on him for a moment before he looked away, trying to figure out where to go next in the dark.
Evanna sighed. "Yes, let's all descend the mysterious rope ladder into the dark! What could go wrong?" She huffed and followedcdown the ladder. Besides, where else would she go?
Sparrow came down next “so what’s up?” She asked
Llano concentrated for a moment, his skin shifting and glowing like metal on the verge of melting. He gave off a decent amount of light now, enough to see another door a few feet from them. He began to walk over to it cautiously
