"Hey, n-no, you don't get to give me a look and then walk away," Vien protested, now getting up and following him. He stopped in the kitchen, folding his arms across his chest as he gave Vin an "I'm waiting for an answer" look
"Hey, n-no, you don't get to give me a look and then walk away," Vien protested, now getting up and following him. He stopped in the kitchen, folding his arms across his chest as he gave Vin an "I'm waiting for an answer" look
"I need to make food for later." He got out pans with a clatter.
"Okay, if you won't tell me, I'll just have to wring it out of you," Vien said with a huff. He waved a hand, and the pans were pulled from Vin's hands by wisps of starry smoke. More smoke curled around Vin, forcing him to turn to Vien
Vin struggled in the magic and glared at him unhuman-like. "I'm not going to tell you shit." He growled.
"You better tell me why you were so eager to get me in that bed, or we will never have a repeat of last night again," Vien threatened, eyes narrowing dangerously at Vin. "The longer you wait to tell me, the more suspicious I'm going to get."
"I noticed you were tired. I wasn't going to try anything on you, filthy bastard."
"I wasn't worried about that, you imbecile," Vien said with a roll of his eyes. He glared at Vin for a moment longer before dissolving the smoke. "Fine. Whatever. Tell me or don't tell me, I don't care." With that he walked off, pacing quickly towards where he assumed Vin's room was. Once he found it he kicked his shoes off and crawled into the bed, frowning as he pulled the covers up over his head
Vin snatched the pan up and as soon as he touched it, the metal melted. "Yeah? Fuck you too. Third fucking pan this goddamn week." He threw the pan into the trash (it made a loud thulk noise), and pulled out another one.
Vien had heard him, but he resolved not to say anything. He suddenly felt bad for upsetting Vin, but decided that sulking in the other's bed was his best option. He curled up tightly beneath the sheets, a finger or toe twitching absently as he didn't bother suppressing his tics
Vin sat it on the stove and turned on the gas, letting the pan warm. He rubbed some ashy black makeup-like stuff off of his nose and growled faintly.
Vien shifted a bit, grabbing one of the pillows and hugging it to his chest as his tics began to grow worse. They usually did whenever he was angry or upset, and at this point he felt like he would lose his mind if his leg twitched one more time
Vin rubbed the stuff off on his shirt and it stained the light-gray. He still felt it on his face.
Of course Vien's leg twitched again, causing him to growl irritatedly as he sat up. He glared at the offending appendage before shutting his eyes. He muttered a few words in a strange language, and within moments a small dragon-like creature rose from a circle that formed on the floor. He gave a smile at the sight of the creature, which hopped into his lap happily
Vin fought with his shirt, and once he got it off, more ashy black had stained it. He tossed it outside and looked down at his chest. It too was stained in ashy black.
Vien slid back under the covers, now holding the creature to his chest in place of the pillow. It purred happily, nestling into Vien's chest as its calming aura washed over him. He fell asleep quickly, still holding the creature as he did so
Vin's dog bounded over and barked loudly and angrily, as if barking at a stranger.
"SHHHH!!! SHhhhh it's me shhhh!HH!HH!HH!H"
Vien was fast asleep, though the creature in his arms sat up a bit at the sound of barking. Its four eyes narrowed softly before returning to its previous place
She just did NOT shut up!
Vin grabbed her muzzle lightly. "SHHHHH!!! It's me, Ruby, shhhhh!!"
Ruby attempted to scramble away from him and ended up backing into one of his smaller tables. One of Vin's lamps fell with a crash!
Vien was startled awake at that, the creature in his hold flailing as they both nearly fell off the bed. Vien held the creature to his chest, eyes wide as he looked toward the hallway. “V-Vin? Are you alright?” he called
Oh, shit.
"Yeah, I'm fine, sorry if I woke you!"
"Are you…sure?" Vien called again, holding the creature he had summoned close to his chest as he stared at the hallway
"Yeeep!" He sounded happier than he did earlier, and Ruby was still attempting to bark through closed jowls.
Vien frowned in confusion. He was half tempted to go make sure Vin hadn't chopped his arm off or something, but part of him was still worried Vin was mad at him. With a sigh he laid back down, staring absently at a spot on the wall
Vin let Ruby's mouth go slowly, then she immediately began barking loudly again.
Vien flinched at the sound of the dog barking, and he did his best to ignore it while he held the dragon like a giant teddy bear
