He smirked. "Well, madam, I apologize for the delay, as people are hesitant to let go, and a few hardly deserved it."
He smirked. "Well, madam, I apologize for the delay, as people are hesitant to let go, and a few hardly deserved it."
"Aww. The minuscule mortals think that they can escape us. How sweet," Tal scoffed with a laugh.
He rolled his eyes. "Not just them, family as well. Except for one, although I think I might cheat a bit with they." Azrail said spitefully
Tal reached out and wrapped her fingers around his wrist to pull him inside and shut the door. Once this was completed, she looked at him. "Do tell."
"Would not let their teenage son get treatment for an injury." He said, voice cold.
Tal bared her teeth. "Can I help in any way?"
"…Could you speed up their time to meet me a bit, dear?" He asked politely, a mildly sinister smile on his face
"But of course, darling," Tal purred. She released his wrist, she hadn't realized how tightly she'd been gripping him, and walked over to a door. She slipped through the door and came out after a few seconds. "Done, my love."
He smiled, bowing slightly. "Thank you, love."
"Not a problem," Tal said with a shrug. "I basically do nothing all day. I look forward to your visits."
"As do I." He said.
Tal grinned. "As anything else been happening? Big stuff."
He shook his head. "No, not quite."
"Mmm… how's Lady Mistress?" Tal spat out the name. It had been Lady Mistress who decided that Tal had become too dangerous with her powers and cast a spell on her, forbidding her to leave her mansion. She could still do her job, but without the simple luxuries that others, such as Azrail, could afford.
"Oh, her? Absolutely miserable, as always, my dear."
"Perfect," Tal snickered. "I'm going to get my revenge soon, I just KNOW it!" She punched her hand. Her face was alight with a scowl.
Azrail smiled. "And I will be right beside you, darling."
"I thought that Death was loyal to no one," Tal teased.
"No mortal, love." He corrected, taking a step closer
"Ah," Tal replied smoothly, stepping closer as well. "I see."
He smiled, tucking a stay lock of hair behind her ear
Tal smirked knowingly. "Well?"
He leaned in slowly. "May I?"
"Of course," Tal murmured.
He pressed his lips to her's, closing his eyes
