"I can get you painkillers…." He offered, his voice soft.
"I can get you painkillers…." He offered, his voice soft.
"It's fine, probably a caffeine headache anyways." she cuddled next to him
"Are you sure? It isn't a problem…" He whispered.
She giggled a little "I'll be fine, I've handled much worse than this. Thank you for the offer though."
His dark green gaze shifted. "I just don't want you in pain….But….If you say so…"
"We should probably get up…" She sighed.
"Yeah…" Tom glanced around. "Uh…" He started as he got up. "What do you want for breakfast?"
"Just some eggs and bacon… just a craving for protein" her eyes still had a slight yellow glow to them Probably because of me… but hey, small side affect it'll wear off. she winced in pain but when she opened her eyes they yellow hue faded "Damn headache…"
He glanced at her with concern as he left the room. The black haired boy walked into the kitchen, his footsteps weary. He stumbled through the fridge looking for what she asked for. Grabbing the cartridge of eggs and bacon, he placed on the counter. He rooted through the medicine cabinet and found some painkillers. He smashed them up and mixed them in with the eggs. She needs it…
When he left the room she got up but crumpled to the ground griped the sides of her head and quietly suffered this agonizing pain of something nonexistent chipping away at her skull Heh, looks like it hurts… she looked up as her eyes had begun to glow yellow again. "What are you doing to me?" Looking through your memories… looks like you had some real fun she choked out words between bursts of pain "stay… out… of… my…" her eyes began to glow bright blue "HEAD!!!" she yelled as a bolt of red lightning shot from her fingers and melted a hole in the window. The pain instantly faded "oh no… they heard that for sure…" the figure of Gator had disappeared and she looked worriedly at the doorway.
Tom heard the crash from his room. He rushed upstairs, leaving the food where it sits. "Seraph!"
She clutched her still burning scars "I'm alright…" her voice was shaky with pain "The bastard was in my head… Tamriel was in my head…" she slowly climbed to her feet but that surge of energy took a lot out of her so she stumbled.
He rushed to her and grabbed her as she fell. He stroked her head, clutching her tightly. "It's alright… Just calm down, you're in a house we two magic users. I can always call Hunter and Bryan over if James isn't here that is… Just calm down… I got you."
"The hell did I do? What… the hell did I do?" she looked back at the still melted glass "How was he in my head?" her voice now shook with fear "What… is… he?" she slowed her breathing a little "I know you can't answer that…"
"Shush… Maybe Megan might know what he is… for now… just calm down. I have some food for you downstairs if you're still hungry. I can make or do anything you want, just tell me Darling." He whispered gently.
She slowly regained balance and stopped shaking "I need to eat… that took a lot out of me…" she took another glance at the glass "Sorry about that… When can we meet her?"
"Hopefully soon…" He helped her down the stairs and set a plate of food on the tale. "There you go, i'm going to call Megan, alright?" He asked gently.
She slowly nodded her head What the hell did I do? she ate her breakfast and held her head in her hands trying to stay awake and deal with a droning head ache.
He pulled his phone out, making sure she as alright, and dialed Megan. He glanced at Seraph worriedly. The phone was answered with a buzz.
"Tommy~!" Megan's cheery voice came from the phone. "Whatcha' need?"
His gaze averted back to Seraph. "I have a… friend here… it's… complicated but… your theories may be onto something. She kinda needs help."
"Literature-iverse?" She asked, drowning in excitement.
"You… could say that… Just, please, come over soon."
She snorted. "Don't worry, at the word "theories" I had my shoes on. I'll be over in a sec."
"Thank you."
"My pleasure, Tommy!" She hung up.
He turned to Seraph. "She'll be over in a little, alright hun?"
She nodded "That's good." she rubbed her sore scars feeling the rough and smooth patches of skin that made up the scorched areas. "Just hope it didn't leave any lasting side effects."
"I'm sure it didn't." He smiled sweetly at her, the right side of his lip lifting upward. "Did you like your food?"
She smiled "Yes I did, and thank you."
"You want more? I can make more… i don't mind." He shifted.
"I thank you for the offer but, I'm full. I never eat much in the mornings."
"Alright." He shifted.
