Bishop noticed his fiancé and gave an almost villainous grin before waving him over "oh dear, Cassius, won't you come and sit with your future husband? I would greatly appreciate it." He was being a jackass of course but he lathered his words in a sickeningly sweet syrup as he spoke them he is smile never faltering as he looked at his fiancé. Of course he had to uphold his reputation and at least make this marriage look good in on paper, truthfully he'd much rather be seducing one of the more fun attractive people at this party but the poor lad was working with a brand new ball and chain that certainty wouldn't let him bed, let alone think lustful thoughts, what a tease he was, looking as good as he did right now and not even knowing it..
Cassius sighs softly, looking at Bishop for a long moment. He debated not going over, but he could feel his mother’s stare on the back of his head. He closes his eyes, a light brown color, gold in some lighting. He walks over and smiles slightly, “My darling lord, Bishop.” He murmurs, his tone sarcastic.
He moves over and stands beside the man, tilting his head. “What do you want?” He mutters, placing a hand on his hip and looking at the other man.
“I have other, more important things to do. Like, you know, enjoy a party.” He takes a long drink from the glass of wine he was holding. He wasn’t feeling remotely buzzed, and that was not good, especially if he had to deal with Bishop. He then drain the glass and set it on a passing tray while grabbing another one. “Or do you want to defeat the purpose of a party and have me be bored?”
"Oh hush now, we both know your already not enjoying this party Cassius, now behave yourself, wouldn't want your mother to blow a fuse in front of all these people would you?" He asked with a smile before leaning his head against the back of his hand. "Sit down drink so more and stop being so damn bitchy, I know it's your thing and all… But could you act a bit more professional? " he had a slight Snarkiness behind his last sentence as he glared up at his fiancé.
Cass scowled at Bishop. Dammit, what Cass wouldn’t do to be at the docks where the real parties were. None of this sophisticated bullshit where polite words meant venomous things. He looks away, standing still for long moments. “I’d be having more fun if you could shut your trap and stop yapping like a needy little puppy.”
He slides his gaze back to Bishop, raising an eyebrow at the man, “I’m not a ‘bitchy’ person. You don’t even really know me. Normally, I’m a fun guy.” He grins slightly and then starts to walk away, a plan to ditch this stupid place already forming in his head. His mother could fucking deal. She didn’t own him. She and Father were lucky he’d even agreed to this damn marriage.
(Sorry with school starting I've been busy a d this is so short but here's you go!)
Bishop roles his eyes with a slight smile, it was so easy to upset this boy. " oh yes why don't you leave- is that what you plan to do our whole marriage, dear? That deeply upsetting for me to hear Cassius, I thought better of you. '
Cass turns, his ice blue eyes narrowing on Bishop, “Excuse me?” He crosses his arms over his chest. He wasn’t upset, just mildly annoyed at this point.
“I don’t plan to leave very often. I’ll be gone most of the time, unless you want to order e home.”
