"Girl this is what I–er we're here for!" Kendra said.
"Girl this is what I–er we're here for!" Kendra said.
Abby looked at Kendra skeptically. "What?"
"I'm not here for it. I mean sure, go for him if you want to and I'll support you all the way but…" Vivian sighed, "I can't handle the lovey-dovey talk much."
"Sweetie, you were flirting. And might i add he marched all teh way up her to get your freaking phone number then you slammed the door in his face before he could say anything else!"
Abby blushed and looked down. "I've never dated before. I don't know how this 'love' stuff works."
"Same though."
Abby brushed her hair behind her ear.
"I was in love once. In highschool. it was beautiful. but it turned out not so good. but anywayyyyy so tell me about this boy" she said pulling Abby to the couch and sat down criss cross, her entire body turned towards her.
"We met in college… We had the same minor… We went to each other's games, my hockey, his baseball… And we were just friends," Abby recollected with a small smile.
"Friends now, more than that later" Kendra chuckled.
"I don't know about that." Abby rolled her eyes.
"mhmm whatever" she said, getting up to get some coffee.
"We're just friends! Not every 'guy-girl' friendship has to turn into love." Abby insisted .
"didnt say it did. but you like him" she said in a sing song voice from the coffee pot in the kitchen.
"That is true," she piped up. "I don't like Jazza like that."
"As. A. Friend."
"I doubt that Abby. i really doubt that. i know a love struck girl when i see one. I was one!" she said exasperated and done fighting. Kendra went to her room with her coffee and sat on her bed, and scrolled through her phone.
Abby looked at her hands in her lap. Her phone buzzed. Moments later, she burst into Kendra's room worriedly. "He said Hey. What do I say?"
"What did i say? love-struck. Just say hey back" she chuckled and sipped her coffee.
Abby frowned but sent Hey. "So… now what?"
"Wait for him to respond. make him fight for your attention but dont make him feel like hes not wanted."
Abby blinked. "What?"
"Nevermind" she said bluntly, turning back to her coffee.
Abby looked at her phone. She squealed excitedly. "He responded!"
"What did he say?" she said, looking up curiously.
