God, he's adorable. Theo smiled brightly at the happiness he saw reflected in Robin's eyes. "And you draw too, right?" He asked, resting his chin on the palm of his hand as he continued to face the man.
God, he's adorable. Theo smiled brightly at the happiness he saw reflected in Robin's eyes. "And you draw too, right?" He asked, resting his chin on the palm of his hand as he continued to face the man.
Robin nodded eagerly, knee bouncing as he squirmed a bit in his seat. “Yes! I like to draw things in nature,” he said, bringing a hand up to run through his ginger hair.
"What kinds of things?" Theo asked curiously, smiling at Robin's excitement.
“Mm, like plants, animals, lakes…” Robin named off, propping his chin up against his palm as he looked at Theo with a delighted expression.
Theo laughed at the expression on Robin's face, meeting his light eyes with his own mismatched ones after a moment. "You're adorable when you get excited…"
Robin’s eyes widened a tad at that, his cheeks going a light shade of red. Had he read Theo’s lips correctly? He was positive he had. “You think so?” He asked, tone a little squeaky.
"Definitely," Theo answered, nodding as if he were agreeing with his own words. A slight smile made it's way to his lips as he saw a blush spread on Robin's cheeks.
Robin’s cheeks got redder as heat creeped up the back of his neck. “Thank you,” he stammered, smile now a shy one.
"Of course," Theo answered, smiling softly and looking down at his textbook as he thought. He didn't know what to do next. After all, he had never gotten this far in a conversation before.
“You have a nice smile,” Robin said softly. He had been thinking of a way to really respond to that. But there were a lot of things he liked about Theo so far. “And nice eyes, and hair..” he added.
"Thanks," Theo answered softly, a faint blush spreading across his cheeks as he looked back up at Robin. There was something… different about him. A good different. "I can't seem to explain how amazing you are in words."
Robin glanced back at Theo, smiling warmly. “That’s a good thing?” He asked, fingers rubbing at his own knee.
"A very good thing," Theo nodded, rubbing the back of his neck nervously. After a long pause of thinking, he finally spoke up. "D-do you maybe want to, uh, go to a cafe with me sometime?"
Robin’s smile grew as he nodded eagerly. If he were standing, he would practically be jumping up and down with delight. “Yes please!”
Theo chuckled lightly as he watched Robin smile widely, his blush deepening at the sight of the man's excitement. "Are you free later today?"
Robin nodded quickly again. “Yes, I am!” He exclaimed. He was way too excited at the moment. Then again, he didn’t get to go out and do things like this often.
"So, do you want to come and get you around four-ish?" Theo asked, suddenly a lot shyer than before as he ran a hand through his curly hair.
“Four sounds good to me,” Robin said before suddenly sitting up. “Oh, you might need my address. I don’t live on campus.?
"Oh, of course. Maybe just give me your number," Theo nodded, taking out his phone. "S-so I can call you too if I need to." He said quickly, hoping that it wasn't that obvious that he had started to like Robin a little.
Robin nodded a bit, clicking a pen as he wrote his number down. “Text me,” he reminded in a joking tone.
"Right, right, sorry," Theo answered, chuckling lightly at his own forgetfulness. He began to pick up his textbook as he checked his phone, letting out a sigh. "I've got to go to class, but I'll see you soon."
Robin looked up at Theo with a bright smile. “Yeah, I’ll see you soon. It was great to meet you!”
"Same to you," Theo answered, flashing a bright grin as he grabbed his textbook and walked towards the exit of the library, waving to Robin as he left.
Robin wanted to squeal with delight. And he probably would have if he was alone, and not in a library. Oh no, how loud had he been talking? Surely Theo would have said something if he had been. No, he was just being paranoid.
