"Speak in English please." she shot him a look, "Well, can you be trusted?"
"Speak in English please." she shot him a look, "Well, can you be trusted?"
“It means companion, and of course I can,” Yeon said, grinning now.
"Companion? Hardly. I chose you because I don't care if you die." Dove shot back, but then added with a smirk, "Joli garçon."
Laima laughed tensely, her long hair rising and falling. Breanna went somewhere, and she could talk now. "One of you can sit next to me as I drive, and another in the back. How about that?" she asked. "Now, that wasn't so hard, was it?"
"Now, about the trust thing…" Laima said, tapping her chin. "Why not?" she said, grinning widely.
“I have no clue what the hell you just said,” Yeon commented with a grin before looking at Laima. “You get it. Maybe I should call you compañera instead.”
"You do that." she leaned back in her seat.
Laima laughed, but it hit her that just this morning she had to evacuate her home.
"Ah…" she murmured, thinking. Laima started the car, taking it forward before turning a left.
"We'll be stopping at my former home for a minute," she said, biting her lip. She turned around for a second before looking back to the vanishing road. "Okay, I know I was forced out of there. Don't bother protesting. I'd rather you use your energy to help me. I have a lot of useful things in there, and we can fit it in the car if we move fast. Okay?" she asked.
The woman nervously twisted a bracelet clasped to her wrist, identical to the one Breanna had just given to the butler. "Miss Michelle, I would like to thank you for meeting with me." She pushed forward a stack of papers. "This is my son. Jon. He has been fraternizing with someone in a lower neighborhood. I'm worried about him. Would you please find out who is corrupting my precious little boy?" Breanna accepted the folder and flipped through it. Age: 23. Looks like the 'little boy' wasn't so little. Honestly, some people could be so unreceptive. Especially when it came to someone of a lower class than them. "I understand. Is there anything else I should know?" Breanna had come for a job, but this one seemed just as boring as her last one had been.
"Yes. I have followed him before. He talks of someone named Yeon. The address is written down on the fourth page. That might be a good place to start." Breanna accepted the information before standing and bidding the lady adieu and starting on her way to her own house to grab materials before she went to Yeon's house.
"Okay." Dove wanted to know what Laima's home looked like.
Yeon gave a quick nod, adjusting in the seat so he could buckle in. This back seat was way too small for him to fit in.
They neared Laima's house - a tent, really. She didn't stay put, after all, or her business would crash and drown. And it was annoying to have to steal from the same people all the time.
"Oh, don't look so surprised. Be ready, though, for a fight." Laima said, parking the car in the middle of the road and climbing out.
Breanna's driver finally pulled up to another equally large mansion. She stepped out of the car and immediately entered, hurrying up to her room. She rummaged through her things picking out more suitable clothes for this mission.
