Yeon threw a quick glance in Laima’s direction, seeming impressed by her ease and composure. He nodded in agreement with her, looking back at the woman.

Dove nodded and stared at Breanna, assessing her strengths.

Breanna knew it would be dangerous to reveal more about herself. They could easily report her and plunge her already struggling family down further towards the depths of bankruptcy. She took a moment to appreciate the way the girl had dismissed her, but knew that leaving would mean losing the power play. She remained silent, watching the people in front of her to see what they would do.

Laima waited. Most of her social experience was from dealing with her customers, which meant she spent most of her waking time from the moment she officially became a fortune teller and traveling apothecary at the age of 11 dealing with people who didn't usually have the best of intentions. At least in the small towns (villages, really) surrounding hers. She hoped it wasn't like that all around the world, but because it was so untrustworthy around her towns, she was prepared.
She had learned with her clients that sometimes with silence, they'd open up and spill the deep secrets you'd need to tell a believable fortune about them. She was the only fake in her town, and she couldn't have the rest of the town gaining a bad rep just because of her screw-ups.

Masalee glanced around interestedly. No one seemed to currently be there, so she unlocked the door and walked inside, hoping for clues about who these people were.

(So guys I' pretty sure this is considered dead but like as a lifeline I'm throwing in some stuff for continuation. I don't really want this to sink into the depths of the unknown, but if you all are done I'd like it if you'd comment below and tell me)

Laima Florence shoved past this Breanna girl and jogged to the car. She did a quick inspection to make sure nothing was tampered with, and when nothing was she quickly motioned for Yeon and Dove to come over. "Let's not waste time," she said smiling. "I know a few things that need planning."

Yeon jogged over to the car and leaned against it, gaze on Laima. “What do you have for us, querida?” He asked with a devilish smile.

(I was at a friends house, sorry!)

Dove came over, arms crossed.
"What do you want, Laima?"

(We'll come to Yeon's house, then)
Laima shrugged, pointing her head at Breanna, who was watching. "Talk in the car?" she said mildly. She didn't want Breanna to get suspicious, but what could she do? They needed to steal that book from the palace, but for that, they needed a really good plan. She assumed the book was under guard, and if the security there was even half decent, the locks would be reinforced with magic. She did have a few good ideas, but she also needed the map of the palace. She couldn't mention any of that around this random rich girl.

Yeon nodded at her words. “We could stop at my place to figure things out. It’ll be much nicer than sitting in the car for an hour or so,” he said with a grin.

Breanna watched as the group of people left. She made sure no one was around or watching, before she pulled out a scarf and wrapped it around her face. She glanced around one more time before quickly crossing the road to another large mansion. She fingered the bracelet on her wrist, before knocking on the door. A small old man opened the door. She handed him the bracelet and he immediately let her in and led her to a sitting room. An anxious looking woman sat there.

Oop! Before she could forget again, Masalee tied on her mask, covering half her face. She had too much to lose now, unlike before.

"Your place?" Dove squinted, a little bit disgruntled, "Only if we have to."

Yeon chuckled and shook his head. “Better than being crammed in a car, compañera.”

"Crammed?" she shook her head, "Yeah, okay your house sounds good. I don't want to," she motioned towards him, "touch you."

Yeon’s natural instinct would have been to say something suggestive, but he bit his tongue and smiled, giving a loose shrug. “Whatever works.”

"Mm." she stood awkwardly to the side. "Do I get in or..?"

“I’d say go on ahead, it’s Laima’s car, so she’d want to drive,” Yeon said, giving Laima a flashy grin.

"I call shotgun." Dove threw up some finger guns, aiming them at Yeon with a wink.

Yeon’s brows raised in surprise. He could never tell with that woman. “Yeah yeah, I’ll hop in the back,” he said, tugging the door open.

Dove nodded, opening the door and taking a seat in the front.

Yeon slid into the back seat, shutting the door once he was in. “I can give directions,” he said, leaning forward.

Dove looked towards Laima, raising an eyebrow.
"Can we trust him?"

“He is right here, compañera,” Yeon commented, giving a look of mock offense.
