After a while, Corbin finally managed to fall back asleep in Cyrus' arms.

Cyrus was scared to fall asleep, holding corbin

Corbin stayed asleep for a while, but he eventually whimpered softly in his sleep and curled in on himself, trembling lightly.

Cyrus ran his fingers through Corbin’s hair.

Corbin eventually settled down and opened his eyes, looking up at Cyrus sleepily.

Cyrus gave him a worried look “ you okay?”

"Mmnh…? Y-Yeah… I'm fine…" He replied softly.

“ okay.. he said softly and kissed Corbin’s head.

"What time is it?" Corbin asked after a few minutes.

“ about three..”

"In the morning or afternoon?"

“ morning..” he mumbled and held Corbin closer

"Oh… I guess we should go back to sleep, then…"

“ mm. I don’t know if i can..” he said softly

"Mm…? Why not…?" Corbin asked tiredly.

“ just scared.. I hated every minute I was going through that nightmare..”

"Mm… wanna talk about it?" He asked, yawning and huddling closer.

“ n.not really”

"Alright… anything I can do, then?"

“No, I just need to settle down..” he said and kissed Corbin’s forehead

"Okay… anything I can do to help you settle down, then?" He asked softly.

“ just cuddle with me.”.. he said softly

"Mmkay, Cy…" Corbin yawned again and tucked his head under Cyrus' chin.

Cyrus wrapped his wings and arms around him, holding the crow like a life sized teddy bear

Corbin trilled softly, seeming content enough to be held for the time being.
