“ well guess what, I'm a spoil you.” he said and kissed the top of Corbin's head.
“ well guess what, I'm a spoil you.” he said and kissed the top of Corbin's head.
Corbin flushed a bit and smiled softly, curling his wingtips around himself. "If you say so, Cy…"
“ com’on let's get you to work,” he said warmly
Corbin nodded a bit, taking Cyrus' hand to walk out of the apartment. He'd already changed into proper clothes, so he was ready to go.
Cyrus smiled the whole way there, cracking jokes with corbin every now and then
Corbin laughed at Cyrus' jokes, seeming comfortable and relaxed. He headed into the bookshop and settled himself behind the counter.
Cyrus sat behind corbin like last time and lost himself in a book about water targeted magic.
Corbin read his own book as well, getting up to help customers when necessary, but otherwise staying seated. His shift was overall uneventful and he got off a few hours later.
Cyrus noticed when the shift lead took over, he put his books up and walked out with corbin. “ onwards to the worst thing in the world “ he said with a laugh.
"Oh, c'mon. Buying clothes isn't so bad, especially when you've got the money to afford them." Corbin took Cyrus by the hand and walked out of the store with him.
“ eh. Maybe to you, I hate trying them on and deciding If I like myself or not.”
Corbin shrugged a bit. "I usually thought it was fun when I was a kid as long as it didn't take too long. Dad liked putting me in all sorts of stuff."
“ I bet, “ he said and walked to the nearest clothing store, he looked around at all the outfits, “ soo, wanna help me find a style?”
"Um… sure, if you want. My sense of style isn't all that good, though." Corbin laughed softly and started rummaging through the clothes.
Cyrus found a couple of jackets and pants he liked, most of his essentials like boxers and socks by himself. He even picked out a couple of neon shirts. His favorite colors seemed to be any neon cool color on or designed with black.
Corbin grabbed a few things to see if Cyrus liked them. He didn't exactly know Cyrus' size, though, so he read mostly just trying to figure out his taste.
Cyrus came back to corbin with a few things in the cart “ cool, but I'm in a medium “ he said with a small smile.
"Ah, sorry… it's so hard to tell." Corbin laughed softly and went to retrieve a medium for Cyrus, which he then put in the cart alongside other things. "What else do you need?"
“ I think that's it,” he said in a sure tone “ lets go pay “
"Okay!" Corbin followed Cyrus up to the register, looking at all the clothes he'd picked out. "We'll have to find somewhere to keep all of these…"
Cyrus pursed his lips in thought “ I gave no clue.” he said after a couple of seconds. He picked up his bags of cloths and walked with corbin
"I guess we'll have to get something. My apartment isn't really built for two people." Corbin laughed softly. "I'm sure we'll figure something out."
“ Okay, sorry bout taking up space, “ he mumbled. And rubbed the back of his neck.
"It's, fine, really. We just gotta do some rearranging." Corbin smiled up at Cyrus. "And as long as you help, it should be fine."
“ I will,” he said and stretched his wings. Hed felt so tucked up not flying at least once every day.
