(Jules is a very light boy lmao)
After the initial movement, Jules stirred. Any fainting spells he had lasted only a few minutes long. He blinked open his eyes and put his hand on his neck. When he slumped over in an unusual position, he had given himself a crick. Jules groaned and took a deep breath before rising halfway. He had no idea what was going on or why he was lying in a recovery bed. He was completely unaware that he was a patient. The air was stale, and the room was unusually quiet. Everything was off, and he pressed his eyes shut, trying to block out the haziness with his blinking. Jules laid his head on the pillow, unable to sit up halfway for long. He had a weak core. His question was softly delivered. He didn't want to startle the two people in the room with him. "How did I end up in a recovery bed?" His silver hair fell back into his eyes as he tilted his head slightly. He blew it out of his face.
“Why is it so quiet in here?” His memory was shot. Jules couldn't recall the events leading up to his fainting, but he did recall Vienna's invasive questions. He averted his gaze from her direction. "I apologize if I caused anyone any distress." Jules apologized a lot. For anything and everything. He was harsh with himself and could barely keep his mouth shut. “Do you guys think it’s best I should rest?” He didn't feel like he needed rest, but he also didn’t want to alarm everyone but suddenly jumping up.
(i didn't know how much he weighed so i went off of his height and build and took some sort of a guess lol. hope you don't mind ^^)
Vienna's head whips over to Jules, who was now conscious. She knew he would wake soon but not that soon. Though she honestly had no idea why he had fainted in the first place. She planned to check if there was an underlying issue but he had woken up earlier than she expected. And now it would just be awkward.
Vi knew she still should do so and she should ask him some questions about it. But it seemed like he had enough questions from her for today.
"We put you there." she crosses her arms, assuming her rather defensive stance and her voice was no longer as soft as it was before. She was plenty annoyed with him and she didn't really mind whether or not she showed it.
"and yeah. Go ahead and rest. You did just faint out of nowhere" she says, her voice not exactly harsh or unkind. "don't get up. As of now-you're a patient." she says, her fingers running over Jules papers as she organized them from the date. Her fingers slipping through each of them and pulling ones from between the others only to lay it on top. Her green eyes skimming over the papers, reading just enough to be able to organize them.
Vienna assumed Jules wouldn't want her to be reading these but she didn't care too much about that. Not right now.
(Lol, that's alright)
Jules watched Vienna and noticed her change in demeanor and tone. He couldn't figure out how he kept setting her off. He lay in bed, scanning the room for any clues that this was all a nightmare. He didn't come across any. "Oh—alright." He murmured softly. He seemed to have enraged her to the point of no return. "Hey Vienna? Can we at least try to be civil to one another..” With sad puppy dog eyes, he looked up at her. It wasn't a sense of guilt, but rather how he was feeling right now. "Fainting out of nowhere? Odd…" He didn't know what had caused it, but he had a suspicion. "If I am a patient, then you should ask questions. I don't mind. I don't really remember what led up to this." He put his hand to his head, attempting to detect a fever. He was not hot to the touch. "And conduct any exam that you need. It is your responsibility. You must not allow the tension between us to prevent you from performing your duties." He drew a deep breath in.
Jules kept an eye on her while organizing and dating the papers he'd spilled. "Those documents are my personal files; perhaps they can provide insight into who I am. Answer any questions you have." He was about to tell her to be careful, but he bit his tongue to avoid further upsetting her. As the room spun, he sat up, trying to organize his thoughts. He laid down again. Perhaps his blood pressure was too low. His only guess was that. But how? Was he a vasovagal syncope? He didn't think so.
Once Vienna was done roughly organizing the papers, she sets them down in the drawer where they belonged for now, not having replied to any of his past comments.
"i don't need to. I already know you well enough" she states, stepping up to him. Her expression was plain and without much emotion as she puts the inner side of her wrist to his forehead, then to his cheeks.
She takes her pen and writes something down on her wrist to remember "could be stress but i don't see how." she shrugs, tapping the pen to her lips as she looks around the room.
"how much water have you been drinking? And when was the last time you ate?" she asks him.
(sorry its a bit on the shorter side. My mind is dead rn :,)
(It's okay, sorry for not saying anything for azzy akekrk)
(That's alright, Celeste :)
Jules looked at her cautiously. “Alright. I just wanted your curiosity to be satisfied. Sorry.” He wanted to be friends with Vienna, but he didn’t think that was going to happen. She seemed to hate him with her entire being. He wasn’t aware of what he had done to make her hate him. He tried to be as welcoming and nice as possible. His brow furrowed at her emotionless face. Was she shutting herself off around him? His face was drained of all color, and he looked down at the sheets rather than her face. He flinched when she pressed her wrist to his forehead and cheeks. Jules wasn’t expecting the touch. Especially from Vienna whom refused to touch him. “Stress? I guess that makes sense.” He stopped himself. “Right, I’m the patient. Not the medic at this moment.”
Jules thought about her questions. “I drink water every day. At least the amount you should be drinking or more.” He paused. “And the last thing I ate was breakfast this morning. Haven’t had lunch yet.” He sighed, trying to take in as many deep breaths as possible. “The only thing I’ve been lacking in is sleep.”
(Think I could join? Also maybe be a runaway but not a refugee if that makes sense?)

(So a runaway that didn't get to the refuge? Sure.)
(Important: After Friday, I will be gone until August for summer, so this will be on pause)
"Hm" she thinks for a few seconds to herself, mumbling a few things under her breath.
"Let's get you something to eat and then you can go back to your-living…area or whatever and rest" she says with a small wave of her hand.
"I haven't eaten today so I'll go with you." She looks to Azzy "you can come too if you would like" she offers, not showing much emotion, but her tone was slightly softer when talking to Azzy compared to Jules.
She didn't feel comfortable or safe around Jules and she thought it would be best not to involve emotions with her job. It was a bad habit she had picked up back when she was with the government. Though she wasn't as important there as she is here and she's obviously treated better as well. But she still couldn't help but wonder what they were like deep down inside.
Vi tried not to think about it too hard, as she knew it would affect how she treated the others here. So within a few seconds, she had put away the papers and slipped the info of Jules into the drawer.
Name: Zanna
Number: (TBD)
Role: Runaway
Age: 21
Gender: Demi-girl (She/they)
Sexuality: Pan
Looks: Short cropped black hair, light brown skin, freckles splattered everywhere, typically covers the lower half of her face with either some type of mask or bandana, hard blue-indigo eyes, and their right leg and left arm are both metal prosthetics (initially given to her by the government, but they modified the prostethics so that they A. didn't have trackers and B. looked much cooler.)
Likes: Freedom, Independence, Cats, Metalwork
Dislikes: Containment, Trusting people (:
Hobbies: Tinkering with metal, Creating mechanisms, Existing
Backstory: Zanna remembers a little bit about her time before the government, mainly that their parents were mechanics hence why she is drawn to metalworking. Her parents sent them to the government with promises that she'll have a better life there. Most of their time with the government was spent isolated being used as the primary development tool for regenative properties so they could save money all medics. She can recover for almost any serious wound, but they can't regrow limbs (obviously). Currently presumed dead by the government as when she ran at the age 16 they took about 5 bullets to the chest (Those bullets may or may not still be in her). They aren't exactly aware about the Refuge as she just kinda vibes in an abondened scrapyard going out to explore every once in a while.
(Let me know if I need to edit)

He was a bit spacey through that whole thing, though when he had refocused on the situation at hand he didn't want to interrupt the two of them.
They seemed like they had a previous history, and he wouldn't lie he definitely was curious about it for sure.
He wouldn't push on it though as he wasn't super nosy with situations that didn't involve him.
"Yeah- yeah. I haven't uh, eaten much either so I will definitely join you."
Despite not showing emotion he nodded the change in tone between the two of them. He smiled softly at Vienna as he moved to go with them.
( @ShadeStar I added them. 0499 is her number)
0499, or as she now liked to call herself, Z, was rummaging through the supplies she had. They did this about once a week to see if anything had gone rotten, or if they needed to leave their safe haven of the scrapyard to get something. The scrapyard had plenty for her to work with and keep her busy, but wasn't as helpful when it came to food and water which she would have to go into the forest nearby for. Which typically meant they risked running into scouts. She was never sure why the scouts were out there, but she had gotten fairly good at avoiding them. And sadly, they needed to go out into the forest. Her last bit of food went bad and she was running out of water. With a heavy sigh, they began to make their way out of the scrapyard into the forest keeping their ears open for any sounds that might indicate a scout patrol.
Vienna looks to Jules, then to Azzy before opening the door for the both of them, waiting for them to go through before she did.
To anyone else it would look like she was simply being polite but in all reality, she forgot where the lunch area was and wanted one of them to lead.
Vi tries her best to seem the most confident she can be and so with that, she's learnt to hide any signs of her lack of knowledge for something.
"Yeah. You just got back, you must be starving" she says to Azzy, trying not to be as awkward. Though she knew how she was acting towards Jules was making everything a bit more awkward than it needed to be.
(Im… A bit late but is this still open?)
