( Sure. See ya soon )
Marya stepped out of the room, the t-shirt hanging around her knees and making her feel like a child. At least she felt cleaner then she'd ever felt in weeks. Throwing the bath towel on the floor, she made her way to the infirmary, to keep an eye on Ailith.
Ailith laid in the infirmary bored out of her mind.
"Is it supposed to sting?" Cal asked, fidgeting with the shirt in his hand, itching to put it back on. He was getting more self-conscious by the minute, the scars on his back standing out against his skin.
"Yes. Hold still." The nurse repeated, continuing to add ointments.
"Ailith. Glad to see you didn't go joyriding." she shot a glance at Cal. "And I don't want to talk about my clothes, so we're not bringing them up." Marya sat down in the chair, her wet hair dripping onto the cushions.
//So are you guys going to free Azrael or should I figure something else out.
(We are. Just give us a bit.)
Ailith sighed, "I'm so bored."
( We're going to get him )
Altheia went to the infirmary to meet new people. since she was new, she didn't have any friends. as she reached there, she saw a girl…Ailith. she went up to her and introduced herself." Hi, I'm Altheia, im new here only arrived here 1 day ago.How are you feeling"
Ailith looked at the new girl she smiled, "I'm fine. A bit sore, but fine. My name's Ailith by the way."
"I think you look gorgeous," Cal replied, flashing a grin as he turned back towards the nurse. He played around with the shirt in his hands, starting to slip it back on, but immediately getting it swatted away from his hands. "Come on. . . it's just a small cut. How much care does it need?"
"It needs a lot. Especially since you decided to 'go for a walk.' " The nurse answered, shaking her head faintly.
She snorted and turned to meet the new girl. "Hey Altheia, I welcome you to this rebel base. But first, I would like to say, you will be watched in your first week. We have many spies." she turned to face Cal and watched him getting patched up.
"Like my stellar abs?" Cal asked, looking up at Marya and laughing.
"Like your sad excuse for muscles." Marya smiled, shaking her head and resting her hand on her ax.
"Yes, exactly." Cal chuckled, blowing strands of messy hair out of his face. After a few moments, the nurse had finished wrapping new bandages around his wound and declared that he could stand up again.
She shot up from her chair. "Wait. Cal, you should take a break for today. Rest, in your bed, or you can play board games in the hall. I don't want you. . .going out. I have a mission. Someone, being held captive (@Xeno) and I need to go save them. You, need to stay here." Marya swung her ax over her shoulder. "I have to go soon. You're not allowed to come with me."
//So are you guys going to free Azrael or should I figure something else out.
(I got somethin')
(winks)
"What about me?" Ailith asked Marya.
"What if you get hurt?" Cal answered, standing up and walking towards her. He didn't doubt her capabilities, but. . . he just didn't want her to get hurt.
"Ailith can come, I'll be fine, Cal. The hole in my stomach is already feeling better." Marya gave him a quick hug. "C'mon Ailith, we should go."
Ailith got up and followed after Marya, "See ya Cal. Altheia make sure Cal doesn't leave."
"I can come, Marya. It doesn't hurt anymore." Cal answered, stepping after her. He couldn't stay here and let other's get hurt.
She shook her head. "No. That's final. I'm not going to get hurt. I can take care of myself, Cooper's got my back." Marya smiled at him. "We have to go now." she stepped out of the door, turning for a second and blowing him a kiss before heading off with Ailith, hopefully, following.
Cal tried to follow after Marya, but one of the nurses held him back and forced him to sit down in one of the cots again.
Ailith followed Marya as she left the room. She walked alongside her, "So do you know who this person is?"
